Your Go-to Drink

Green tea. I am talking about one from home, not the one in Tokyo. They don't have enough flavor IMO. Genmaicha (green tea with roasting brown rice)
Lemongrass tea, peppermint tea; some people say they don't like peppermint tea as it feels like tasting tooth paste, same for mint ice cream. I love mint ice cream but they often mix with chocolate that I cannot eat. I love simple mint ice cream from cold stone.

Too bad I cannot drink any alcohol.

Fortunately, I don't have to pass any drug tests;), so that's not the reason I drink it.

I doubt you ever had true cranberry juice since most of it out there is technically labelled "cranberry juice cocktail," due to all the additives to make it more palpable and to bring down the price.

...And I doubt that you would enjoy my version. It really is tart. If you take me up on my invitation for an October visit you can have a sample of cranberry juice...and...

I really would love to talk to Grandpa Roots over a cup of tea or cranberry unfortunately I'll be in Germany in October, but fortunately I'll be in Germany in October!

Viel Glück! If you return to Japan afterwards, you have a standing invitation.:)

Danke schön! I think I'll return around August, 2017, would definitely be interesting to meet TAGers!

Enjoy Germany! I loved it when I visited back in 1973. Met a nice university student in Bonn at the start of the summer and enjoyed the summer festival with her so much that I visited her again after touring Europe.

Look forward to seeing your in 2017, especially since I'll be feeling old, decrepit, and lonely after TokyoJoeBlow has gone through all the female population of Japan, charming them with his winning personality:

I see that you still believe I'm making this all up and make light of a complicated situation which includes my wife's father's passing away.

This only makes you look like an asshole you fucking old man. I know you are old from reading your boring posts where you admit you are over the hill. Just die already. Japanese women prefer to fuck younger guys like me.

I have to make another plan for Germany trip! Though it should not be winter...I visited Berlin and Munich in Decemner though January. My German ex showed me around, the whole cities were just amazing.
Historical gates, churches, famous Chiristmas markets, fireworks on new year's eve at Brandenburger Tor, model looking people; however, it was freezing!

Even though all the previous places I've lived were extremely hot LA, LV, Taipei. I love living in cold places, it's my natural habitat. I went to the Christmas Market in Erfurt back in 2011 and it was out of this world, felt like you are in a fantasy movie.

Drinks:
Non-alcoholic: I usually go with green tea or sparkling water. I'm happy that when I'm back in the states, unsweetened drinks are a little more popular these days so you can actually find the Ito-en Green Tea or some other tea without sugar/fake sweetener in it.
Alcoholic: Almost always beer. Sometimes I'll do wine, whisky or shochu, but mixed drinks are rare - only when other people are making them or a special occasion, etc.

A polar bear who thinks it is cold in Germany? You must be a panda in disguise. When Germans think it is winter real northerners still wear shorts and flipflops.

The winter is coming!

I think winter is only coming every other year in central Europe ;)

Christmas markets with snow are pretty cool though.
