I was looking around TAG and found this topic about Viagra , which I found useful and considering to get one myself from one of the clinic mentioned in this thread.

Never take Viagra myself so I am curious about how it will effect my body , especially the effect on the eye sight.

I have been taking Maca root from times to times. Sometimes it works , and sometimes it doesn't. To my surprise I couldn't find a single thread on TAG about Maca (not to be confused with MAGA please)

I am taking this capsule from Matsumoto Kiyoshi , because it is relatively cheap and has the most Maca per serving than other brand.

I used to ordered raw Maca powder and make a smoothies with cocoa power. It taste horrible so I stop doing that and take it from capsule instead.

So, is there anyone taking Maca root power ? In what form, what brand and the dosage? Any thought around Maca root vs Viagra?


Edit: Before anyone saying "you don't need to take these stuff, just eating healthy and exercise" , yes I get that. I just want to experiment with supplements.

I ordered some powder off iHerb a while back .... tasted awful. I didn't notice any positive or negative effects. Didn't finish the expensive bag of powder. I concluded it was just another "super food" fad that people were trying to cash in on. I tried quite a few "super food" supplements off iHerb...but Maca was the worst tasting.
 
Maca, saw palmetto, muira puama, horny goat weed etc, all work to a various extent. There’s a “Horny goat weed” by Natures Design that contains all of the above basically, and in my experience it has a noticeable effect. I usually bring it from the US though, so I’m not sure if there’s alternatives available in Japan.
At any rate, the effect is pretty mild compared to Viagra. So for maximum “certainty”, the latter is the way to go IMHO. Viagra has more side effects though, eg headaches, but it really depends on bunch of factors. I personally find that it’s worth it though, as it is a pretty reliable “performance guarantee” :) (YMMV of course).

Thank you. Ended up getting a generic Viagra from the clinic in Shibuya. First time for me to take it and it really works! A thousand Yen for one 50mg pill is quite expensive.

No side effects , yet. Will see how it goes in the long run.

Now I'm still taking Maca power , guess it doesn't hurt.
 
50mg is pretty strong. I usually cut it in half, and it still works for me. Also cuts the cost in half :)
I haven’t noticed problems combining with herbal supplements (in moderation).

Maybe novice question but when to take Viagra ? Just before the act ?

i guess u tried 4-5 years back but didnt feel any change ;):(,

Clinical recommendation is to take it 30-200 minutes BEFORE sexual activity. Too soon, you won't notice an effect (and if you perform normally probably don't need it).

It's a pretty big window, but wait until you you're sure the game is afoot.
 
A better advice is to take Cialis, it lasts for a couple days so it's not so time sensitive. ;)

That is the advice with the most sense indeed. A guy I know (cos I don't have any friends) went to a doc and got 200 pills of Viagra. Used for two times, realised it makes his vision blue and changed the girl to a healthier one.

In other words to a one that didn't require Viagra to get it going :p
 
For supplements, try taking L-Arginine 500mg. 2 capsules x 2 a day. You will start to feel the effects after a week. I take it as a fitness supplement and it has increased my overall drive.

I’d also agree with MikeH on the Cialis as a kicker if you still need it.

During my last year in Japan I started dating this young girl and noticed my dick wasn't working quite as well as normal. Flat, body like a chubby boy, had no idea what she was doing in bed (she was a virgin). I was in my late 20s. Thought it might be my body getting old, started taking all sorts of supplements and none of them worked particularly well. I broke up with her, moved back stateside, weaseled my way into a very cushy titled job in government and started a brief relationship with a receptionist from down the hall with gorgeous fake tits, rap video ass and zero brains. Turns out that fucking girls that look like boys was the problem, rather than my dick.

That said, one of the supplements I started using was Maca. I believe I was buying the Asahi brand type you can get at any kusuri shop. While it didn't make me rise to a disappointing occasion any better, I did notice that it kept me slightly hornier. Specifically, I was maintaining a nominal half-chub through most of the day. I also started taking fish oils, ginkgo and other vitamins and noticed I was getting more of those spontaneous (and unwanted) hard-ons at inconvenient occasions. At the time I was teaching at a prestigious high school, where I'd spend most of my days sitting at the head of a class of forty 17-18yo budding females, all facing me, half of them in short skirts and gifting me with generous bean shots--when wearing tucked in dress shirts with clean-ironed slacks, that's flirting with disaster.

What definitely had an impact was Tongkat Ali, which you can also buy at any kusuri shop and seriously plays with your testosterone levels. Shit would make me oily, horny as fuck and brought back the hair-trigger temper of my teens. The downside is once you cycle off, it fucks with your hormones and I'd lose all motivation and sex drive for a couple of weeks. And at my age now, I really don't want to fuck with my DHT levels and court any further thinning of the hair.

What I did discover during those years is that supplements are ridiculously overpriced in Japan and--if things haven't changed--you can order superior quality supplements for a fraction of the cost from Swanson Vitamins and have them shipped to Japan. Check out their website, and here's the version of Maca I still take today. I figure it can't hurt, and from Swanson it's dirt cheap.

I've started keeping a regular supply of 20mg generic Sildenafil (Viagra) in my medicine cabinet, as the 50/100mg versions are simply overkill for me. You might want to look into lower dosages. I'm almost 40 and really don't need anything, particularly in the mornings, when the other half wants a quick one before work. However, after a few drinks is where I really show my age. But with the 20mg little pills, after a few hours of moderate drinking I can pop just one and function like I'm completely sober and ten years younger; and if I'm totally fucking shitfaced, I can pop two and an hour later my other half is howling at the moon and we need to wash the sheets. I think I toyed with the generic Cialis some years ago and it gave me a wicked headache and heartburn, so it really just does depend on the person.

Or I just drunkenly look up Miran on Pornhub and hope my other half doesn't wake up. No need for Viagra at that party.

Interestingly my experience with Maca is that once I took it for a long period of time, like a month, then the effect seems to wears off. Once I stop for a while and start taking it again the effect seems to be back.

Or I just drunkenly look up Miran on Pornhub and hope my other half doesn't wake up. No need for Viagra at that party.

If you're interested in trying that route, start with Tongkat but you may also want to consider adding Tribulus Terrestris. There are tons of supplement stacks with both ingredients stateside as both are very well-known supplements for weight-lifters and are said to boost testosterone. Again, use caution playing with hormones but I toyed around with that stack in my late 20s and it made me feel like a fucking superhuman...so much so that I ended up injuring a tendon from spontaneously running too fast and hard without training up for it. If you're like me, it will make you horny, aggressive, angry, sweaty and oily. Probably not the best if you're doing the dating scene thing but it's amazing if you just want to lift weights, run and hit some P4P afterwards. The downside, of course, is the off cycle. At my age I'm content with just standard supplements, lots of nice food, alcohol and a couple tabs of Sildenafil if need be.
 
I've tried Cialis a couple of times. It's fucking effective even at a low to medium dose. Almost too effective IMO.

No doubt, Tadalafil is like a rapist's rampage in a pill. I took a moderate dose (way more than I should have) and for the next two days, if I even looked at my dick cross-eyed I'd inspire a raging half-hour boner. It got to the point that I couldn't even visit the gym (watching 19yo college bimbos doing squats would've been murder). Might be interesting if swinging by a shinchi and hitting ten shops in two hours was the goal, but if I came home one day and tried humping my other half from noon to 2am, she'd think I was either on meth or about to leave her.

But alas, the heartburn and headache were wicked, indeed. Makes it very hard to celebrate blowing a load in a shinchi girl young enough to be my daughter with a nice wine and Cuban R&J.

OMG. They also pay you for that job! I have mistaken my profession. I had to run away from my lower instincts instead of my vocation.
 
Huh. I didn't get those side effects. I did get a dickache though, from getting too many erections for too long.

It just depends on the person and how he reacts to each drug. Some guys love Tadalafil (Cialis), particularly the low-dose daily pill, and then some guys--like me--experience some awful side effects. In my case, that was horrible heartburn and acid reflux, headaches and nasty sinus congestion. And then some guys have nothing but horror stories after using Sildenafil (Viagra) and report headaches, blurry vision, nausea, etc., whereas I think the generic pills are fucking awesome. I get zero side effects from one 20mg pill, and with two pills all I'll ever get is a slightly stuffy nose, but I actually prefer this as I can tell when the drug has fully kicked in. And they say the effects only last a few hours, but I definitely experience residual effects the next morning through lunch and definitely get my four buck's worth before breakfast.

Not sure if the body builds a tolerance to either drug but I only take a dose perhaps once or twice a month at most when I've had too much to drink and the other half expects an encore performance. Over the last three months of lock-down I've barely touched anything (other than myself) and have transitioned into more predictable lifestyle of waking early to jog, working for a couple of hours, jerking off in my home office before dinner and then getting shitfaced and passing out on the living room sofa before the evening news comes on and my other half gets any ideas about a goodnight lay.

Most of the new cases being turned up are from targeted testing in host bars, kyabakura, and maid cafes. Actual P4P is relatively safe.

Brick and mortar P4P places that have onsite bathing/showers tend to be relatively well ventilated and if they aren't, you can generally tell as soon as you walk in the door (if you've ever been to Strawberry Jam in Shibuya pre-renovation, that's a great example of one that wasn't - you could practically watch the mold growing up the walls and it smelled like a high school locker room), and the girls spend most of their time one on one with customers, so are around maybe 10 people a day max other than commuting. Love hotels disinfect rooms between sessions, so delivery and hotel health are even less of a risk than the already low risks posed by regular health shops.

The big exception is pink salons - crowded close quarters with crappy ventilation as any non smoker can attest. I avoided those places even before the plague, but doubly so now, though I heard Hinomaru (shudder) is now operating on a reservation-only system to keep occupancy staggered.

Several years ago, the US FDA ( (with Japan following suit quickly) approved low dose tadalafil [ Cialis ] for enlarged prostrate conditions, ( BPH Beneign Prostatic Hyperplasia ].

A somewhat hapless friend with failing health ( obesity & insulin resistance ) was puzzled with the Halloween candy like assortment of medications he had been given, and asked me to decipher them. He couldn’t understand why I broke out laughing and asking him whether he recently had any nookie on the side recently. Just made him more angry and irritated when I told him the other conventional use for the Tadalafil. Can’t recall but I think the dose for BPH was 5mg/d.

Another friend who was using Tadalafil as a ‘performance enhancer’ inevitably got psychologically dependent on it. That is, while before he didn’t have ED, he became psychologically dependent on it and basically got ED ( psychological , not physiological ). I think he now gets a low dose supply ( he’s stateside ) which is something like 10mg/d. The conventional dosage for Cialis for ED, I think is 20mg....

If there’s possible issues with aging and lower testosterone, before looking at either non prescription testosterone booster supplements like Ali Tongkat etc or seeking prescription testosterone shots , it makes sense to see whether vitamin + mineral combinations do the trick. For example, Vitamin D3 ( which you will want to always take with Vit K2 MK7 ) , Zinc, Vitamin B6 or similar proprietary combinations of “ZMA”. If they do work, it’ll help solve the problem in a ‘sustainable’ manner that won’t require ‘cycling’ or deplete your wallet as aggressively.
