At this time, we have made a few changes to our authentication system due to some issues that were detected over the last twelve hours.
For members, the following changes are in place:
- Ability to authenticate with any valid Google account. (button appears on login page)
- Ability to add a two-step verification process using the Google Authenticator or Authy.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-authenticator/id388497605?mt=8

Additional comments:
Our border security logs detected some activity from a previously known IP block which had been recently released from our ban list. This person initiated a password recent attempt as well as attempting to access other parts of the site that are not intended for regular users.
Finally - In All:
- Fine tuned monitoring logs. (Instead of just spot checking, the system will now auto-alert based on keyword triggers or specific parts of URL's)
- Implemented additional security options for users.
- Users that hold administrator level rights will be required to use two-step authentication.

- We urge users to change passwords at regular intervals.
- We urge users not to use common passwords that could be the same as online banking or other critical services that should be well protected.
- The person in question did not obtain anything of value... such as password or access to any non-public information.
