Finally, after two years and seven months, Japan will be reopening for normal tourist travel.

There is no official update on the Japan immigration pages at the time of this posting, but we assume that normal travel will be available to those who are vaccinated against COVID-19.

(We'll update the link if there is a URL change once the official pages are revised...)
For those of you returning to Japan in the near future, please be mindful of those will be looking to take advantage of tourists as they have done in the past. Please be sure NOT to follow any touts on the street, no matter how good it sounds. We encourage people to read reviews and make informed decisions as much as possible.
