Seeking out information here.

Is there any program/s offered in Japan to help integrate foreigners with Japanese Nationality (half or of Japanese ancestry) to the Japanese community and way of life.

Could be anything like low cost language schools or job placement.

I'm not Asian, but I just started Kumon to learn Japanese and it's pretty helpful if you want to learn Japanese.

For the culture, it's best to talk with people at bars or join some club for the hobbies you enjoy.

I thought this is for math? Do they have it for multiple studies?

Yeah, while the little kids are doing math, kanji, and other stuff, I am trying to master writing hiragana. Yesterday, every time I would start to write hiragana, the little boy would stop doing his math and watch how bad I write hiragana. :(:hilarious:

I’m sorry but this did literally make me laugh out loud. :D
Hang in there. I thought i would never remember them and i guess i was slow on average. Actually i still forget katakana sometimes as they are not so often used. But its very comfortable once you have mastered Hiragana and feels more rewarding than kanji study because they are easy to write by yourself and before you know it feels just as familiar as the alphabet. :)

You very likely will not find anything at the National level. Unlike countries like S Korea which consider all its diaspora as part of its national-ethnic Borg ( acceptance of those with mixed blood is a function of racial appearance x celebrity ... said in tongue in cheek) ... Japan doesn’t have a strong policy on accepting returned goods...

You will find programs providing language classes provided by ward offices, especially those with significant foreign populations... examples:

Minato ku https://www.city.minato.tokyo.jp/multilingual/english.html
Shinjuku ku http://www.foreign.city.shinjuku.lg.jp/en/ & https://www.lifein.tokyo.jp/en/toshin_fukutoshin/live_and_consultation/detail.php?id=22

( that last link looks like Tokyo metro govt ...)

Cities with larger Japanese Brazilian populations might have programs ... but they haven’t typically been positive at the municipal govt level. The naive assumption in creating the special visa condition in 1991 was that the magical properties of Yamato blood would guarantee motivated obedient workers to fill the gaps in blue collar sector ... old story on Homi Danchi: https://www.stippy.com/japan-waiwai...me-sweet-homi-greeted-by-local-cold-shoulder/ the best part was the story on how they firebombed the right-winger’s sound truck.

What if you were a white guy, with perfect Japanese language skills AND Japanese nationality?

Would the “Japanese only” shops let you in when you pulled out your Japanese passport?

Depends. Some shops will let you in if you can prove your nationality. Some will still reject you because of the colour of your face.
