Articles such as this one are often total rubbish in one way or another, and that is what I was expecting when I clicked the link, but fwiiw, I think this one is *excellent*. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Imo it could not be described as balanced in the sense that it almost completely excludes the negatives/cons of sex work (and of course there are some as there are for all professions) and focuses strongly on the positives/pros, but they get far far too little attention in the media I think and are also real and important. Me too. I think most of us old timers who have been active mongers for years and decades have met a few of these priceless gems, well not literally *priceless* ;), especially if we see escorts who are mid- or up-scale in the market.

And of course there are those whose motivations are a combination of needing an income to support themselves and loving the job/profession/industry. Indeed, some of them walk (well, post) among us.
