We are back from our Japan trip and let us report our experiences:
1) we had wonderful encounters with locals both at Bliss Out Tokyo and particularly at Kujira Osaka!
2) we have made a few connections through this and other platforms, however
3) none of them materialized. At the point when things were about to become concrete towards meeting, we were simply ghosted.

We found not even receiving a "no thanks" after lengthy email or whatsapp conversations irritating. Could this be a cultural thing?

But all in all we are quite satisfied with our experiences and can warmly recommend those two clubs.

It is a pity that the communication has not been satisfactory. More than cultural, I would say that there are some people who entertain themselves fantasizing and do not arrange the meeting.
A couple of foreign friends non Japanese speakers are going to Osaka. Would you recommend Kujira Osaka to them?
