Found this forum via random googling about sex service in Japan when planning my vacation. The reviews and information on the forum feel really helpful and gave me a somewhat direction on how to start, but would definitely appreciate if I can have a bit more clarifications as a first timer.

So here's a list of (potentially stupid) questions:
1) what's the typical mode of communication to reach out to service providers? I know Line is quite common but do I require a Japan phone number? My region (Singapore) doesn't allow Line to bind a phone number so I could only register with email, not sure if it can still work without getting Shadow banned etc.
2) how do escort services accept payment and deposit? Is it cash only? And is it usually to pay before or after the service (just trying to reduce the chance of getting scammed)
3) I get the no sex rule for "organised" service providers, but what about private ones? And if they claim to provide full service, would it be a likely scam or legal risk in it?
4) what are some of the other rules that I have to respect? Like any body part that I'm not supposed to touch
5) is there any license/certificate/operation serials that I can check to verify the website or outlet is legitimate and legal?
6) (please ignore if promotion isn't allowed) any recommended escort service for first timer and also private escort if I'd like a full service?

Sorry for the essay and if any stupid/offensive questions. Thanks in advance for any clarification!

1. Usually by telephone booking, otherwise booking through SNS base on what their profile says. (Just remember it's not a chat service when you contact a provider, set the place, date, course (length/type) and avoid conversation not related to the booking...)
2. 90% or better of the shops are COD (cash-on-delivery) It's extremely rare that shops require a deposit - independents sometimes require a small deposit which can be done in various ways. Avoid using your credit card directly at agencies/shops.
3. The rule specifically states that arranged sexual encounters between two adults (who know each other) for a 'gift' is permitted. This is how independents and papa katsu situations work since the girls make the arrangements on their own. Soaplands have a loophole (you pay for the woman to bathe you but you fall in love with each other and things happen.) but all other agencies, where you book through a middleman (shop) it's illegal to sell vaginal sex. Anal sex on the other hand is completely legal all the way around.
4. Don't be dumb and follow each provider's own rules. They will tell you what is and isn't allowed... if they say no, don't push it.
5. No, there is not.
6. We don't do recommendations, please read reviews and make your decision. (If you are absolutely set on FS, then use a Soapland or independent, don't expect it anywhere else.)
