Someone appears to have added me to the mailing list of Judicial Watch. No matter how many times I report it as spam in gmail, or try to unsubscribe using the link in the emails or the gmail unsubscribe function, they are not stopping. This appears to be a US organisation. Obviously I am not in the US. Is there any sort of legal recourse to get these fuckers to stop clogging my inbox?

On a related note, is there anything I can do about the metric ton of paper flyers that get stuffed into my letterbox every day?

Thanks in advance!

The first part… keep reporting them as spam.

2nd part - put a notice on your mailbox that says no chirashi (in Japanese)

Have you tried creating a filter for it in gmail?

Unless it is an ad for escort services.

Which brings out the question do they still do those? I haven't had a problem with paper ads since I moved away from the city centre.

If reporting them as junk mail doesn't work, create a rule that automatically marks them as junk or just deletes them.

Do they sell preprinted notices like this anywhere? Or do I just need to handicraft one myself?

Thanks for all the advice everyone! Super helpful, as always.
