Hey there folks,

Visiting from out of country and would love to mingle in the local area. I heard that finding a foreign friendly place is pretty hard here and I googled around and found older posts or not so helpful answers. Has anyone had any luck recently? I speak very little Japanese which automatically disqualifies me from many places. I know rejection is likely but I'd like to give it a shot. I could potentially do an escort as well but I am less confident going that path in a foreign country than I am back in USA.

Any help would be very appreciated!

A red light district near Kyoto where you can find soaplands is in Ogoto. It's 30 minutes train ride away, and you probably need to take a cab from the station to the RLD.

I've never been there and have no idea if there is any foreigner-friendly shop.

A few of them are (Goldqueen, Kotei Bekkan, chateau Louis) but I doubt they accept customers who don't speak Japanese.
Fukuhara in Kobe is the better option (and access is easier).

Kyoto in general is a really difficult area to have adult fun as a foreigner aye. Even with a decent wingman, oppai pubs would give you the stink eye. Best bet is to get a delivery, but if you can get out of Kyoto then I agree with Goshogawara. Make the trip out to Fukuhara in Kobe. Even if it's a fair distance away you will definitely save time and energy.
