New member, going Tokyo & Osaka soon End Dec - early Jan

Hi everyone,

New member here, South-east Asian chinese 44 M... been reading through this forum on and off for the past 1 month.
Will be going to Tokyo & Osaka after Christmas till probably 5th Jan (still undecided whether to extend or not).

I've been in Tokyo twice (pre-covid) but have never had the chance to monger (went with gf then).
This coming trip, will be alone and planning to explore a bit amid my travel itinerary and these are what I hope to "accomplish":

1. Go Rockza Asakusa / Burlesque Tokyo - saw some videos, burlesque tokyo seems more "engaging" with younger girls (but no stripping) ... whereas Rockza would be somewhat watching a carefully curated strip show.
Qn: Is shinjuku new art worth a visit?

2. Visit an este or massage ; saw review for シャーロット姫 in ikebukuro , seems suitable for me as I can speak mandarin or go visit Asian feeling in shinjuku.

3. Visit a soapland : not yet decided where

4. Visit one of the shinchi in Osaka : not yet decided

Hopefully everything will pan out smoothly.

what is your japanese level?

for Q1, it is difficult to tell SNA is worth or not, depends on how much you like strip show. i will check out the dancer roaster first to see whether it has my favorite ones. Definitely Asakusa rockza has the highest quality of performance, it becomes a well known sightseeing spot among global tourists now.

My command of japanese language is basically zero, and yes I have checked out SNA + Asakusa rockza website.... will probably go to Asakusa rockza.
It's also not so much of me liking strip shows or not (I do like strippers in jakarta but thats totally different ), but rather trying something different for this trip since I'm travelling solo.
