Preface this by saying I speak basically 0 Japanese. Verified with my passport on Paddy and paid the $250 3 mo membership.

Found this girl, we agreed on 25k JPY CFS and 50k JPY if she was open to filming. Photos were 50% accurate but she was cute enough, stunning slim body but face was just okay. Met her, and she took the lead on getting us to a love hotel. Was about 8k JPY (the instructions were 100% in Japanese).

We sit down and she asks several questions, seemingly uncomfortable at the idea of filming but just wants more money. I even made it clear that the no filming option is fine with me multiple times. She was the one insisting for more cash. Ultimately she agreed but only if she could cover her face with her hands. Fine. Then this is when it starts to go downhill.

In the middle of it she says stop filming. I say okay, I can stop filming and we can continue for 30,000JPY (indicating that whatever was filmed should be fair game). After I finish she asks me to delete everything. I oblige but say that she should only get 25,000 JPY because I ended up with no videos at all, same as if we had done the 25,000JPY option to begin with. She disagreed and says she only agreed to 30,000JPY (bullshit obviously). We argue for 10 minutes. I say I just want to leave but I want my 5,000JPY back or go round 2 and she lets me film some material.

She says "the amount will change for another round." Not sure the norm here but it seems from other negotiations girls stay for 2-3 hours and you're allowed to pop multiple times. At this point I'm just infuriated, but she caves and gives me 5k back. We shower and leave. As we exited the hotel, she apologized for the miscommunication which I thought was a nice gesture.

If you speak Japanese you'll exponentially have a better time (duh). I'll probably stay away from these sugar dating arrangements from now on, not recommended for 100% Eigo. At the end of the day it's like $170 so whatever but just not a great experience at all. Might as well have been teased and blue balled at an Esthe, at least I could have gotten a massage.

Wow...things could have gone a lot worse.

You should've just booked a foreigner friendly DH with a filming option.
Yep, one and done with Paddy/sugar dating here for sure (until I learn Japanese)

Do you have a recommendation that you've tried?

Just stop already.

If you can’t speak Japanese stick to English friendly options and stop fucking things up for the rest of us.

You should stay away from this grey zones when you don't speak at least some basic conversational japanese.

Not of us here try to be condescending. But if ANY problem arises, it can get really nasty.
What if she says you abused her? Call the cops and make up a story? What if her so-called husband/boyfriend waits for you outside the hotel and make a scene before offering it to settle it at the ATM? Etc, etc.

Problems are extremely rare in Japan UNLESS you start to walk in these so-called grey zones (tachimbo, papakatsu).

A few of us would tell you that you really have to date papakatsu girls a bit before committing to pay them more for sex. Scammers, crazies, starfish, etc. will not go along with this so it's an easy way to filter them out. If you don't want to bother with this and just want to get in the sack quickly, it's better to stick with professional sex workers working through reliable agencies/establishments.

Filming a non pro for 50K is less than she could make if she went to a pornographer! It’s like 200,000 yen. Perhaps she started calculating while pretending to enjoy your company, came to her senses, and refused to acquiescence to your lowball offer.

I find it hard to believe a first timer would be paid 20 man for erotic photos/videos.

I haven't used paddy's but it's not much different than paters. Honestly only speaking English isn't that bad. The problem is you made sexual demands and requirements on a first date. Like some else mentioned for the sugar side of dating in Japan you have to take slow maybe a meal first. Yes a lot of these girls are pros or semi pros. But a lot of then just want to be treated nice as well. So not putting any pressure on them the first date makes things go way smoother. It opens up way mkre fun experiences on follow on dates.

You seriously argued over 5000 yen, even the shops that allow filming. That option starts at like 15 to 20. The waay I would have handled it was wouldn't have done the filming. I would have just given her the 30k. Had a nice fun date and that end said maybe next if you trust me more we can film. That would have been it.

Sorry it's not the English it's your approach

I read that that is the going rate in Japan for perm videos. In a sex shop, these girls sign up knowing a customer could request it. If the video got out, it wouldn’t be so damaging for them. For non pros, this isn’t something they want everyone to know about. Thus, the extra charge. There are many places to read literature on the subject of filming these women and what they expect to be paid. Same goes with the price of getting it raw. Anywhere from 100,000 yen to 400,000 yen. At least some J men have shed light on how they get it on with J women. The offer he made wasn’t enough, she changed her mind. Whereas in a shop, the ladies have little choice. What he offered is more for a Thai!

Japan is a big country and lots of players and always new players with even more money to throw at J women. A lot of these women know the value of something as they are all coached. A SD gal showed me all sorts of things that helps them navigate the sugar world. It was impressive the amount of knowledge they have!

5man for something like that is more of an insult.

Pictures are one thing, video another.

It's the going rate for actual porn shoots (with established studios) for first timers - for videos that will be publicly released.

Filming options usually come with the provisio that the videos will not be released or shared. 50K for filming is actually pretty generous - most DH filming options are 20K or less.

You argue with the girl over 5.000 yen, and you are so proud of it that you are writing it up here? You won't get far in the water business.

This is completely off topic, but actually I don't see it that way. I know it's case-by-case. The field I work in, a few career oriented women have videos out there, but it hasn't really affected their careers. One of them is a senior level manager in a large department store in Tokyo. I could be wrong, but outside of official channels, most people don't care. A few people I know even equate it a similar level as selling second hand items on Mercari.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying it's not damaging for their personal life or perhaps, their own privacy. I mean on the whole, I feel Japan doesn't see it negatively compared to other countries, where it becomes about family reputation, your reputation, "sorry, our company can't have a person of this character", etc. Completely off topic and no one asked for my two-cents:rolleyes::ROFLMAO:

There’s actually been girls who got their employment offers revoked after the companies discovered they did porn. If that were the case, you would have more girls working in fuzoku being OK with filming options.

You just don’t read enough.

The days of old when they could just blend in sadly has gone. Too many have had to pay a big price for such short careers. The most notable termination of employment ended up turning into a legal battle. I believe the woman won the case because of certain circumstances but others haven’t been so fortunate.
