Review Narrative:
To start with, I'm definitely not a big LH fan, in the sense of a purely functional, gaudily decorated room. I don't really have the "meet a girl, have a drink, find a LH if the vibe is right" occasions, and my mongering dates are with escorts, so I've always been looking for a nice, comfortable and enjoyable place that does not require me to fork out the price of a nice hotel room everytime.

There enters Sara Grande in Gotanda (mostly 'famous' for its magic mirror room and other 'fun' themes that really do nothing for me personally ^^'), and their room 701. Truly a fantastic room! So yes, it is not cheap for a LH by any standards but I find it worth it based on the criteria I prioritize.

The concept is "ryokan" and the space is huge! There are 2 outdoor baths, 1 sauna, 1 big bathroom, 1 large bed, 1 'sofa' corner, really more than enough room to have more than enough fun and enjoy! Over a 3-hour course, we got to enjoy the bathroom (beginning and end), the bed of course, the outdoor bath with a nice ray of sun that day (twice or maybe even 3 times), and the sauna, really an amazing experience overall!!

There is a water fountain in the room for good hydration, and you can easily order anything from the TV menu (food and drinks, costumes, etc...) along with the usual adult content.

For some additional context, I went with service time because I had scheduled my date in the morning, and to further maximize my chances that the room would be available, I went ~30-40 minutes earlier to book the room, before meeting my date later. Thanks to a previous review, I confirmed it is possible to exit the room and come back. To do so, you do need to leave out the key at the reception and pay the amount the first time you leave ; then when you leave for good, you use the automatic machine, and nothing is due (you dont pay twice).

This is my first hotel review, so if I forgot any important info, please point it out and I'll be happy to reply further. Alternatively, I'm also happy to hear of any similar recommendations that tick these kind of boxes

This room looks baller but it would be a waste to use it on some random deli girl that provides, uh, sub-par services. Gotta save this room for someone like Manami or your GOAT.

I agree!! I used this room for someone I had on top of my bucket list for literally years 🤩 And probably will use it again with the same provider

Does this place allow 3p? And are there other decent options nearby? I assume a place like this would be in high demand, and I wouldn't want to try to meet someone here and then find out they're full and have to take a 30 minute train to Kabukicho or something to get another place.

I'm just wondering if Sara Grande has big bathtub rooms or not.

Sara Grande can enjoy in the group of 4 at least. I saw a 2-king-bed room once. The fee was JPY21,000 or around in the service time. Just entered 3 people at that time.

You must be talking about the "VIP Party" room (here: https://sara-grande.jp/rooms/76/)
2 big beds, and what seems to look like a fairly big bathtub, but the wide angle might be treacherous. I don't think anything qualifies as "a mini pool", but if by big bathtub you mean 3+ people can be in and around it, seems like this one could be ^^

All other rooms seem to have a rather normal bathtub, including the ryokan room. It was enough for 2 in close proximity tho (and I'm a fairly tall guy).

Aaaah can't wait to go back ahah I'm looking to schedule my next time, and am already looking forward to the outside bath in the warmth of the spring.
