Hey guys,

For you AV fans out there, you must know that the hottest AV idol right now is Takahashi Shoko,
a former popular bikini idol turned hardcore porn star.

She's so popular the price for downloading one of her DVDs is 2,500 yen,
higher than the usual rate for other girls. I personally think her body and face is one of the best

future. (Typical hypocritical media) When the AV production MUTEKI offered her a job having sex for money,
she jumped on it. (Literally!)

Now she claims she gets over 2,000,000 yen per shoot ($20K), and is much happier about her work and
financial situation.

This kind of pay is very good for a JAV actress and she's releasing 1 new DVD per month.
Since she has the looks to be in the media more, I would not be surprised if she became the
next Asami Yuma or Ozawa Maria.

I saw it, i am fond of that show (the older format/concept was better, though).

She seems like a fun and down-to-earth girl, her segment was nice to watch. Her comment+gestures about how av shooting wasn't so different from her balance ball gravure shootings was priceless XD
(But I was a bit surprised by how different her face sometimes is in her released media as opposed to "au naturel", she looked a bit imoppoi on that tv show :LOL: )

She seemed less of an airhead to me than Asami Yuma, who all she could do when she first debuted and came on TV was talk in a
squeaky high girly voice about how the technique of AV actors sucking and banging on her body was ヤバい.

It's refreshing and a major turn on for a girl like her to admit that she has no problem have lots of sex or on camera for her fans.

The makeup for TV and AV is quite different so I'm never surprised about how different girls look between media outlets.

Mikami Yua who also debuted for Muteki apparently got enough money to buy a used 2LDK mansion in Setagaya for her debut.

As for Takahashi Shouko, she has a great body but for me her face is average and like you said she still isn't a very good performer.
Be interesting to see if she improves with time.

yeah... I don't know why she is so popular. Nice body but face meh.. To each his own.

I think her debut title won all three Sales awards (top selling, top rental, etc.)

Personally, I think Mikami Yua is freaking hot. Her face is very innocent yet pretty with nice body.

I think her face is the typical "Japanese young actress" face that the Japanese media loves.
It's innocent like a young girl from AKB, but has been cut to give off a sexy symmetric look like
Mikei Hara or Yuko Oshima. (I have no proof that she's had plastic surgery on her face, though)

You kinda see the same thing with why Kat Dennings is popular in the U.S. (Asides from her huge bust)

You're not the only gaijin that goes to these shoots lol (though I haven't had the chance to go in the past couple of years).

Have only shot at Class-A. Due to my limited Japanese language skills, I haven't been successful at signing up with other studios (Don't have a Japanese driver's license, only a US passport. Really hoping to shoot with Kobayakawa Reiko or Suzuki Satomi when I'm in Tokyo later this month.

It's good to hear that I am not the only gaijin going to these phoot shoots. I think Class A is probably the best studio. I shoot with 5 studios. My Japanese is severely limited.

Really like the studios at Class-A. Lots of natural light to work with.

Lucked out last night and was able to book a Class-A shoot with Kobayakawa Reiko. Just checked this morning and already she's booked solid. :)

Milfs rock! Would love to shoot with Sawamura Reiko or Hojo Maki. Wish I could have shot Yuki Misa or Shinoda Ayumi before they retired.

Darn, I can't make it on the day she's there. Also I've only been able to sign up with Class-A. Haven't been successful with signing up for other studios because my Japanese is limited and I don't have a Japanese driver's license, only USA passport.

Plus I already blew most of my photoshoot budget for this trip on Kobayakawa-san. lol

As much I would like to shoot with the more popular AV stars. I want go any higher than 20K. Kobayakawa-san is gorgeous but I believe she limits you how many close-ups you can take of her private areas.

If that's what most guys shoot when they go to these studios, I guess I'm the oddball then 'cause I don't shoot gynecological studies. I always get raised eyebrows from other attendees and from Suzuki-san when I show up with enough camera and lighting gear to shoot a wedding. lol

People that have seen my portfolio on Model Mayhem know that I only shoot up to Playboy-level nudity and even then I usually lean towards implied rather than full on nudes. To me the less I see the sexier the image is 'cause it makes your imagination kick in.

I'm planning on keeping Reiko's shoot simple. Headshots, white men's dress shirt, maybe rolling around in the sheets, etc. Mainly using the session as boudoir photography practice. Would have liked to have brought lingerie for her to wear but apparently Victoria's Secret doesn't go up to her size (90I?!?). ;-)
