haha yeah No Name-san is all over the palce but the other look legit (by backpage standards)

I think J girls prefer agencies due to ease/security. If they speak english and want to be independent they probably make more internationally (especially with the weak yen). Maybe some occasional activity from traveling J girls who are returning home or those who just want to be independent for whatever reasons.

Have to definitely agree, that there is always a risk.
From my limited experience, the risk of fake photos, photoshopped artwork etc seems par for the course.

Yet, as has been mentioned, there will be the rare ones that are not fake.
In line with the relaxed visa rules which were recently enacted in Japan, many independent and "independent" girls I suppose look to BP as the only way to advertise in an efficient way.
As a platform, BP does quite well for that purpose.

For instance, recently, there was a lady over there from Thailand, mentioned in this post (http://tokyoadultguide.com/threads/gorgeous-miss-amy-backpage.9387/), who I had managed to spend time with and she was indeed the real deal.
It's too bad she had left already though.

TAG's own @User#8628 does BP ads, and trust me, no deal is more real than her!

So, yeah, BP has some terrific escorts mixed with the scammers it seems...unfair to the former, but life is like that.

If you don't like what shows up.....just walk away.....I see no risk whatsoever. I've walked away from several......some were 50-50 and I took the chance.....it's only money.....and not like it's some high end soapland.....I do some negotiating before hand......but if they say it's a firm price then I'll think about it for awhile.

Yes. It's just a risk to try someone from BP that is untested or otherwise unknown. I won't knock those real girls who are out there trying hard to gain a following. :)

There are some new posters but I haven't followed up on any of them.......(as I've found what I want) but the adds all seem similar in writing so that fact alone makes me think it's an agency.....

Well, soapland pictures can also be photoshopped or the girl you want is not available or doesn't do gaijin so it's not like that doesn't have risks at all.
A lot of ads and pictures are obviously fake and with a little mailing around you can pretty much sort out who are real people. And yes, if they are very different from their pictures you can leave.
