Golden week and it's quite nice weather, better to be outside than inside. Lots of people were having cabin fever with the recent rain.

Actually Play money goes into vacation money. I think of trends in terms of the month. GoldenWeek & August might be slow because it's peak travel season.

P4P slow times are the same as they are for bars. All of February, Golden Week and the week preceding, all of August, and Silver Week and the week preceding if there's a good stretch of holidays like there are this year.

I think it's more that providers are willing to charge what they want. If you aren't willing to see them at that price, see someone else.
