I have learned recently that my reviews have had a big effect on the clientele of the providers I’ve reviewed way above and beyond what I ever would have thought. So far, it hasn’t caused any problems but it definitely has made me reconsider posting reviews for certain providers if they’re going to end up on the public internet.
I think it might be a good idea to implement a karma system where new posters can gain trust by making good posts and writing good reviews and then gain access to a higher tier where they can view reviews of providers who we are hesitant to share to the whole world for fear of forcing them to go Gaijin NG.
