I see a Tokyo gets mentioned a lot and I've been to Olive 21 myself.
Does anybody have any recommendations for couple kissa/happening bars in the Osaka or Kyoto area?

Twitter is your friend in this regard. I have come across a number of happening bars in Osaka anyway - but I never follow them because I have no use for Osaka happening bars.

As I said I never followed them. You can search for them easy enough I’d imagine in Twitter if not even Google.
