This is partially the holy grail of PUA, when you think about it, but there is no magic solution. However, there are helpful hints, to give guys an advantage.
This was a sticking point for me and is for many guys. Learned a lot from an absolute swinger master of pickup, who had an uncanny knack for choosing the "right" woman in all kinds of situations.
A) To implement this more effectively, it requires that the guy be very opportunistic minded, have strong situational awareness, and have VERY BIG BALLS. Be the type that goes for it.
Opportunistic/Situation Awareness- For pickup/nampa, realizing that a woman is horny, even in an unlikely place or situation. And knowing a NEARBY place where you can go for sex.
If you are a wall flower or shy type of guy, better for you to PRACTICE having conversations with lots of women first, to build confidence with approaches. Depending on guy and your shyness level, may take several weeks to fix this issue.
Note- You may also want to look at the thread on "Identifying Women Who Will Not Have Sex". It's good to know BOTH sides, what is positive and negative characteristics.
B) Used when you are visually SCANNING a room, inside train, coffee shop, etc... Where you want to approach the MOST VIABLE women.
Key here is take a bit of time to visually scan a place, even walk around a bit, and visually ANALYZE the women there.
C) Visual Identifiable Characteristics
Note- Does NOT have to be all characteristics at once, just SOME of them. However, the MORE positive traits she displays, the BETTER.
In a nutshell (Primary):
1. Smiling (best) or neutral face (minimum)
2. Looks happy (best) or neutral (minimum)
3. Positive energy or vibe
4. Positive physical posture
5. Adjusts her posture for you
6. Flirting
7. Sexy or submissive walk
8. Healthy looking
9. She is looking around/checking out men and/or sexy dressed women
10. Is fidgety (leg, foot, hair)/looks bored/restless
11. Clothing shows legs or accentuates look of legs
Secondary:
Note- These are characteristics noticed as you are approaching and within 5 minutes or less of the FIRST conversation with her.
1. Reacts positively, smiles, or acts submissively when you approach (best), or at least no negative/neutral reaction (minimum)
2. Willing to follow you
3. Will do as requested or instructed by you
4. Pays attention to you
5. Stare at your face or eyes, as if waiting for instructions/"puppy dog look"
6. Laughs at your jokes
7. SHE touches you, especially repeatedly
8. Reciprocity or submissiveness
Breakdown Of Primary:

Physiological and psychological demonstration of sexual readiness.
Note- sexy walk is NOT over done or conscious, but subconscious or NATURAL motion of her hips. Better flow and rhythm often means more sexual or sexually confident. Many Japanese women DON'T know how to walk gracefully in high heels or stunt their walk because ashamed of their hips and femininity, so may require a trained eye and experience to pick up on. However, if skill is developed, can lead to a higher success percentage. And it also requires skill and experience to separate a submissive walk and posture versus a fearful/paranoid type woman.
9) She is looking around/checking out men and/or sexy dressed women
This is something many guys miss. Can be a clear signal that a woman is horny or in the right mood. Also, women will look at other women to access their competition, and this isn't necessarily homosexual (lesbians often have different hangouts from heterosexual women), as a woman is often looking for guys.
When a guy sees this, highly advised to take a shot at her.
10) Is fidgety (leg, foot, hair)/looks bored/restless
Can be a subconscious manifestation of her horniness or craving for sex.
11) Clothing shows legs or accentuates look of legs
Can be a conscious or subconscious signal by women to attract men, sexual competiveness with other women for men, or confidence about her body and health. Examples- short dress/mini-skirt, shorts, very tight jeans, long skirt (soft fabric) that hugs the legs, no pantyhose in the summer, etc...

This is a very difficult to control INITIAL reaction, which often expresses subconscious thinking.
2) Willing to follow you
Demonstrates trust or willingness to trust you. Can be a SIMPLE test of asking her, during the initial conversation, to: move a little bit, stand up, walk over with you a few feet away.
3) Will do as requested or instructed by you
Demonstrates her viewing you as a leader, superior, submissiveness, or relinquishing conscious control.
4) Pays attention to you or highly concerned about you.

5) Stare at your face or eyes, as if waiting for instructions/"puppy dog look"
Characteristic of subordinate, caring for you, or wants relationship with you.
6) Laughs at your jokes
Subconsciously or consciously showing she likes you, likes be around you, or wants to be with you.
Note- Be careful that her or friends are not laughing AT YOU or she/they see you ONLY as entertainment to pass time. Big MISTAKE of many PUAs and PUA styles, where they PERFORM for women. You want to show or create a BOND and RELATIONSHIP with her, NOT be a clown for the moment.
7) She touches you
She us making it clear that she likes you and wants your attention. However, don't expect this every woman, but great if she does this.
8) Reciprocity or submissiveness
This is where a woman SHOWS CONCERN for your feelings and well-being; wants to SHOW (consciously or subconsciously) her willingness to follow you or do what she THINKS you want. She ALSO shows appreciation for what you have done or given her.
Submissiveness- A woman, in a male-female sexual or romantic interaction, who is showing her willingness to follow a male's lead, leadership, or relinquish control to him.
Many Western men, in the feminist/anti-masculinity environment, can feel guilty or bothered by female submissiveness. Often buying into the PC propaganda that the best women should be strong like men, combative, feisty, etc...
Submissiveness or masochistic traits of a woman does NOT mean she is weak or dumb. She can be very intelligent, mentally tough in her ability to endure, physically strong, or strong in her commitment to a goal. In fact, MORE so than women who are loud, combative, or are TRYING to be dominant with men.
HUGE Mistakes Many Men Make:
1) Overly concerned with or deciding to talk with a woman because she is pretty AND IGNORING negative mannerisms, evil face, or bad attitude.

Bitch Shield- a kind of FILTER often used by pretty or curvy women to stop random or guys they don't like from approaching them.
Many PUAs are taught to attempt to plow through Bitch Shields. As a swinger, I say do NOT spend more than 5 minutes or EJECT, if the Bitch Shield doesn't come down.
And only approach women like this, if there are NO better options around. In fact, you may want to GO elsewhere; recommended.
The BEST approach, if you insist, is to act SUPERIOR to the women AND a kind of cocky funny. Think Han Solo (Harrison Ford) or Billy Dee Williams. Give it a test, but if Bitch Shield doesn't come down quickly, EJECT.
Trying to plow through Bitch Shields are low percentage outcomes AND the woman may ACTUALLY have psychological issues. In other words, her Bitch Shield is NOT an ACT, but she IS a SADISTIC asshole or bitch.
A Bitch Shield can be a FAKE act OR she really is a BITCH. Be QUICK to determine which.
Women who are sadistic, will be getting off on annoying, frustrating, and causing DRAMA.
2) Falling into the TRAP of women showing off skin, showing off their stomach, too much of their breast cleavage, ACTING too sexy, etc...
Women who are OVERLY exposing their UPPER body or trying to hard to be sexy, often are ATTENTION whores. They often have created STRONG psychological barriers AGAINST SEX, which why they can be unusually comfortable being overly sexy in public. Such women just want attention through be shocking, so do NOT waste your time with them.
There is a not widely known distinction between women showing off their legs, in a tasteful way, versus their UPPER body. Legs are a SUBTLE way, especially in Asia, that emphasizes a woman's femininity.
Upper body, excessive makeup, over done hair styles, breast implants, and OVERT sexiness is more in the realm of: being about getting MONEY from men, a PRO, modeling for money, hostess/P4P, or public attention. Don't WASTE your time, UNLESS you are seeing OTHER positive characteristics.
3) Thinking Ugly Or Fat Women Are Easy
A fat or ugly women can be EQUALLY difficult or anti-sexual as a pretty or sexy woman, based on her: insecurities, religious beliefs, or psychological issues.
Often the psychological issues of fat or ugly women can be so overwhelming for them, that SNL (Same Night Lay/Same Day Sex) isn't possible. Her insecurity about her body or that you will run away to a prettier woman after sex, can create difficult psychological barriers.
My advice is to talk to women that you are NATURALLY attracted to AND are showing positive characteristics, versus based on what is commonly thought as "easy". Fat or ugly does NOT mean easy.
