Remember when you saw bare breasts on Japanese public TV during peak viewing hours? Like on Shimura Ken's comedy shows? Or the segment of "Guess the Real Stripper" on Show-by Show-by? If you do, you've probably been here a really really long time, like me.
And, who can forget Gilgamesh Night or Jockey TV with all the porn stars, strippers, and bikini idols they had on to bare their hot boobs and ass for us? Not all of such shows were late night, mind you. Jockey TV was hosted by Beat Takeshi and aired on Sunday afternoons.
Now, all the "sexy AV shows" that're supposed to be airing on late night are lame and rarely have girls taking their bikini tops off. Not even the supposedly "slutty" Danmitsu will appear in a bikini anymore.
Heck, it's rare to see deep kissing on TV these days especially with Japanese actresses never giving the okay to do life-like kissing on TV to protect their public image. But, back in the good old days, you got to see couples being paid money to go at it like wild dogs for the viewing audience, and with deep tongue movement.
Anyway, I came across an old skit of Shimura Ken's that I think sums up the smut we have lost from old school Japanese TV. The broadcast of this isn't even that old, it was around 1998.
