Why are some websites not allowed to be mentioned?

I've noticed after researching for my next trip that there are some websites or resources not allowed to be mentioned here. Out of curiosity, why is that?
Secondly out of topic, can you see if a comment was edited by someone else?

Maybe it's mentioned somewhere obvious but I am oblivious to it.

I've been curious also. I had reviews blocked when I started also.

I had asked about if when I first started somewhere. I remember they had said that they are all in English and they specifically only cater to foreigners. So really know point being on forum like this. Plus they are reviewed on other places. Also some have bad reputations so the forum doesn't need to be associated with them.

Can't find the old thread with a quick search but I think I read that some of the banned places are known for exploiting their girls. Could be misremembering though.

Just various bad or unethical business practices in general.
