The second most probable cause for your symptoms is you are just freaking out. I have seen guys get their lymph nodes swell up just because they were sure they got HIV.

I don’t doubt that some of this is in my head. No, zero religion here.

I wish it was the flu but without a running nose and sore throat it’s hard to say that.

some questions:
1. did you at least enjoy the hand job?
2. Not really. It’s all just a nightmare really. Late 30’s.

I can’t really get into the details and not really able to get in touch to find out. But the hands didn’t appear to have any sores or openings but they were likely not washed.

I’m really feeling nauseaus and not we’ll today but it’s too soon for testing. Ugh.

Slow your roll. You're seriously blowing this all out of proportion.

HSV-1 and -2 can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, but only where mucous membranes or cuts/breaks in the skin are present.

There are no mucuous membranes in a hand. So again, if there was no use of bodily fluids for lube, there's no vector for infection.

It is possible for a woman to contract herpes by giving a handjob to an infected partner to completion, and then touching her own genitals without washing her hands first.

To go the other way around, she would literally have to be masturbating herself to get vaginal secretions to use for lubrication.

Do you actually have a temperature that is at least a few degrees above normal? No? I didn’t think so. Anyway, if you somehow got herpes, I think you would have some blisters on your pecker by now. Maybe not. It’s a complicat d virus, and anything can happen, but the only scenario given the facts is that she somehow had living herpes virus on her hand. For this to happen she would have had to have touched her vag while in the middle of an outbreak and some of that fluid would have had to penetrate your skin. Just not really possible. Did you kiss her? Maybe you got mono or Epstein Barr. There are all kinds of exotic viruses people give each other, but hand to dock herpes is firmly in the realm of paranoia. It’s in your mind. Do you have a fear of germs or some kind of guilt complex re sex?

There was only hand to dick. Not normally and this event wouldn’t have been a big deal were it not for the below symptoms appearing suddenly (fluish with nausea for the last 4-5 days, very tired, never before experienced tingling both lower legs, odd taste in mouth, tender groin area.

did you develop those symptoms before you read that they were herpes symptoms or after you read it?

Well, if you did only what you wrote you did then it's not herpes. Or you will be the first person in the world to get herpes from a pure handjob.

Around 70% of people have HSV-1 and 30% have HSV-2. They all live normal lives with no problems.
