    Secret Touch Ikebukuro

An update on Secret Touch - a while back it was closed for "renovation", has since re-opened under the same name and website, but a different concept promising "in-room dates" with a much younger set of staff and higher prices than before. I was considering, in the name of scientific research...

    Good or decent time

Do you mean "Gotanda" as in the 10man short time Chinese evening knocking shop area, or something else? The link is to a shop in Yokohama.

    Delivery Health/Love Hotel Etiquette

Just make sure you choose a hotel without in-room payment machines. Easiest way to tell if you've just arrived is whether there's an obvious staffed reception desk.

    Delivery Health/Love Hotel Etiquette

IIRC the one in Hotel Listo (Shinjuku) certainly is. Moreover, those systems usually mean you have to call reception and arrange for the door to be opened if arriving/departing separately.

Can anyone travel to Japan during this time?

Where is this concert hall with a capacity of over 200,000 people? Not that I'm heaping praise on the vaccination effort or anything, but it seems to have picked up in the last few days, albeit from pitifully low levels. Mind you no doubt "Golden Week" will put a dent in the numbers.

How has COVID-19 affected your mongering?

Of Tokyo's record 78 infections today, 49 were not traceable and the spokesperson for the crack Infection Tracing Squad stated that a number of infectees were not cooperative in identifying the source of their infection. Make of that what you will. Speaking entirely for myself, I've hung up my...

So what are they doing for those of us for whom working at home is the norm anyway? Something involving sending round actual porn actresses, I hope.

    HIV risk?

Still mildly traumatized from that time I was following a pair of tanned attractively taut well-shaved legs rising out of some attractively taut boots only to realized they belonged to someone who was probably on his way to work at a Kabukicho host club. (Then there was that totally other time...

Is it okay to go to a soapland if you are an English teacher?

I'm going out on a limb here, but given the length of time eikaiwa has existed in Japan, and the tens or hundreds of thousands of foriegn eikaiwa instructors that must have been in Japan, there's a teensy weensy chance that at least one other eikaiwa instructor has been to a soapland or similar.

Is it okay to go to a soapland if you are an English teacher?

Unless (assuming you have such a thing) you turn up at the establishment wearing some sort of identifying uniform or badge, the soapland staff are hardly going to be able to identify your employer.
