Maintenance 10/13/2015 - Maintenance & Administrative Work

All,

We will be performing some minor maintenance on the site as well as catching up on some administrative tasks.

Items for Admin:
- Helpdesk Mails - Replies to be sent.
- Account issues - Pending requests & administrative actions to be completed today.
- Outstanding Reports.

Items for Maintenance:
- DB cleanup > repair a temp table issue.
- Server checkup and review of error logs > apply planned fixes.

Update: 1:37 PM JST

- Maintenance has been completed.
- All pending administrative issues have been answered.

Couple of changes coming:

- Due to the large number of people trying to open 2nd, 3rd and 4th accounts here, we will add some verbiage in the registration process to clearly explain the single-account policy. This actually has eaten up some man-hours in dealing with automated and human related junk accounts. (In addition to the manual process, the automated mechanism will be adjusted to better weed out more of these problems.)

- We are gong to more fully enforce the valid email rule regarding accounts that are registered as valid and then start receiving bounces from the address used.

- Better handling of support requests via the helpdesk to help reduce the backlog when I'm away.
