I think in cases like this it is fine to explain what has happened and reschedule a date. Alternatively, many escorts will accept other currencies as well. Ideally though, please try to not leave getting cash to the last minute. This issue comes up often.

Actually I have not waited last minute for the cash, I've been 2H in advance. I tried several ATM before falling back on plan B. And it took me 2H to get the cash.
I tried to explain the situation, but AM wanted to charge me 5000 yen for cancellation one hour in advance. (which kind of put me in a bad mood knowing I'm a regular)

I also proposed to pay with paypal or with credit card, but they did not accept.

2H? Two hours? That is still last minute. I'd recommend getting money, and anything else needed, together at least 24 hours in advance. That way if there is a problem (such as happened to you), the escort has a fair amount of notice. It's impossible to find another date with only two hour's notice.

I understand, but really I could not have guessed that 2 of my cards, from different banks, would ends up blocked for fraud prevention on the same day, and that it would essentially happen the day where my two banks were closed.
Nevermind one card but two ! in so many year, that's the first time I get that...

And it is not like I did not had plan A,B,C,D !
Card 1 blocked + Card 2 blocked + Paypal + card payment refused by AM. I mean it is not like there was no alternatives, but every single of them was not possible.

In the bad old days before the commercial sex world went online, the market was totally opaque, and the most incredibly bad behavior/practices were quite common. For example, there were agencies in which the scheduler answering the phone just automatically accepted any and every booking request that was called in (including not only date and time but also place and duration and specific request for type of escort appearance or whatever). Anything the customer requested was promised without hesitation and often with assurances of how great it was going to be and other bs such as how lucky it was that their best girl happened to have a rare cancelation and so could see the guy etc.

Then, after hanging up the phone, the scheduler would begin to call around to see if any of the escorts with whom they worked wanted to take the appointment. If so, she was dispatched to do so with no regard to whether she fit the bill or could do as asked by the customer or had anything like the requested appearance. But if no one wanted to take it, the scheduler would just throw the request away and forget about it, leaving the guy sitting there waiting for however long it took him to call back or give up etc.

They would particularly do this for calls to hotels near an airport or for any other reason that suggested the customer was just passing through town.

Other than not calling the same place back (or at least the same phone number...but many agencies had multiple names/numbers or changed their names and numbers regularly), there was nothing a customer could do about it. No way to complain or warn any other guys etc.

Plus we did it in knee deep snow and we liked it!
