I think the thought process is that if you get a STD, that's something you can medicate or live with, but if you have a kid, your life is over?

And no I would not have bareback with an escort.

The risks are far too high for everyone compared to the ephemeral extra pleasure it provides.
Of course I'd live to live in a world with no STDs and good birth control.

Anyway I feel there are far better ways to get more pleasure(s) than bareback, using some imagination and minimal logistics. Even when you're looking for thrills (like bareback provides), there are some alternatives (sex in public places, etc.)

Not sure what is better.... A child OR having a lifetime disease.... Some are not curable unlike the common others.

I think this might be because some guys don't have a girlfriend, so they try to make the sex-worker into one. Thus the craving for bareback. I think it's better to not pretend the sex-worker is a girlfriend, because it appears to create more problems than are necessary.

For sure it can create a lot of confusion and aftermath ! Another reason I'm not even looking for it.
The idea crosses my mind at times during intense action, but then I feel that handling a condom properly is a simple yet strong mark of mutual respect. It can be such fun at times too :)

Technically you can get simultaneously a lifetime disease _and_ a child who inherits the lifetime disease. It's an unlikely mess but our world is full of those :/

with an escort I'd be more affraid of STD
with a GF it would be making her pregnant that I'd fear.

Perhaps it is because getting the woman pregnant is *far* more likely than catching an STD, and the consequences would affect other people more and be much less under his control.

In general I would not have bareback sex with an escort, or with a girlfriend or partner, unless I had good reason to believe that the other party was clean.

But I have done so, usually when alcohol is involved. For example, I had unprotected shenanigans with a JK Style girl a few years ago, when she came to my apartment. Partly because I was drunk; partly because I got the strong impression that she was telling me the truth when she told me that she hadn't done it with anyone else. Luckily I didn't catch anything, but it was obviously pretty stupid.

Mind you, I would, in general, love to have unprotected sex. Preferably with someone who has just been with someone else.

Aren't STDs annoying.

I disagree on that point. The sex-worker could be using birth control pills or decide to get an abortion.

Also, pregnancy isn't so easy. It can take a guy months, years, or never to get a certain woman pregnant. That's more like playing a slot machine. Never know which way it could go. I would argue that a STD is more likely to occur than the sex-worker getting pregnant and having the baby.

i dont have unprotected sex period, unless with a steady gf and we have both been tested

previously i had unprotected vaginal sex with my partner when she was in a infertile period, but would always finish outside

lots of unprotected anal sex too lol, thankfully I have always been fine from a std standpoint

some are very "lucky". true story here :
I know a guy who got his gf pregnant on the 1st time he did it without condom.
the second time he didn't use one (years later) it was on P4P and he got a STD :facepalm:
luckily it was a minor disease, nothing uncurable.

If she got an abortion she still got pregnant first... I think one fear of guys is that a girl will ask them to pay for their abortion.

Sex workers should definitely take birthcontrol if they are able to in my opinion, just to be extra safe.
However not everyone in Japan is responsible about that, although it has been getting better and better fast.

Yes, with some girls it takes months or years, but with some it hits home the first time. Not so different than common stds imo. I know about people who have been doing unprotected sex for months in a row and never got anything. I'd say its about equal chance.
