Narrative of the Encounter:
For my fourth visit to Shinjuku's Barubola, which would mark my final bit of P4P for my Japan trip, my eye was caught by Misuzu Amane at Barubola. Her profile strongly advertises her mat play, and since mat is really the main reason I really go to soaps instead of just using deliheru, I decided to reach out through her LINE and arrange a booking. One of her diary posts mentions combining course lengths for longer mat so I decided to splurge a bit and go for 170 minutes when I made my reservation request. She responded fairly quickly even though it was a working day saying she was happy to see foreigners and would love if I made a reservation. I interpreted this as 'Go make a reservation through Cityheaven or the shop' and tried to call the shop, only to be told they don't do phone reservations, so I then set one through Cityheaven's online reservation. This was, incidentally, not what she meant and she had just wanted me to confirm the details before she sent the reservation in. Oops. Even so it only took one additional set of messages to get it sorted out. The way she phrased it makes me wonder if the girls get some sort of additional benefit from doing the arrangements and bringing in the customers themselves. I didn't end up asking her about it during the session either.
The day of the session comes and I head up the elevator to the shop and the staff are happy to see me. They recognize me by name this time, it's a shame I'll be gone for five months after this and lose the rapport. I'm pretty tired, not to mention a bit anxious about having to catch a flight later, so I'm starting to wonder if scheduling this had been a mistake. I pay and head in to the toilet to refresh my mouth wash then barely sit down in the waiting room before tencho pokes his head in and says she's ready.
Misuzu is slender and cute, with a lean body (not anorexic but she obviously works out) and as another reviewer noted on here, her most distinguishing feature are her large eyes. She smiles warmlynas she meets me and we exchange pleasantries and head into the room. She's relieved I speak some Japanese but she also says she speaks a little English and we switch between the two pretty naturally throughout the session. She isn't fluent by any means but she knows enough to fill in gaps in my Japanese.
We chat for a bit as we get undressed. The room is pretty hot and muggy, so she turns the fan on, and she asks why I booked such a long session. I explained I loved mat play and was about to head back to America where it isn't really a thing, and that I was hoping to be able to fit in two rounds of mat play instead of the normal one mat and one bed round I usually can get from a 2 hour session.
We then walked through her Cityheaven profile and mat play options. She has about ten different styles of mat play she can do, which range from standard Yoshiwara-style to very mouth-heavy 'Succubus' style to a mat-acrobatic trick style that's more visually striking than anything else, apparently. She's pretty serious about her mat play and goes to regular courses in Yoshiwara to improve it and learn new techniques. We settle on the Succubus-style and her recommended 'Lover' style.
We kiss a little in the bed then she ushers me to the tub while she preps the shower area, then she invites me over to wash. The washing involves a lot of using her body to apply the soap and moving my arms to rub on me and apply to her. Other reviews mention that she feels a little mechanical, but to me it just felt more professional. She never felt cold or disconnected, and we chatted and smiled as we went through the steps, but she very clearly has a routine and wants to follow it. Later on in the session we had a pretty interesting talk that made this make a lot of sense to me given her personality, and I'll go into that later. Additionally, she said she has a very ticklish body so it's a bit easier for her to be in control of the amount of pressure the customer is putting onto sensitive areas.
After rinsing we jumped into the bath and cuddled up a bit, then she began prepping the mat. During this point, watching her set up the mat, I realized her body was pretty much identical to that of my ex, and wasn't really sure how that made me feel. I forgot about it pretty shortly after though as she ushered me onto the mat and began to work.
I won't go into excruciating detail or play by play about the mat play, because there was a lot and it was long, but Misuzu's hard work at it definitely has paid off. She performs some pretty awesome techniques and movements that both feel great and look really cool, and can really leverage her body to flip and move yours as well. She was able to give clear and concise instructions on where to put hands and she is the first girl I've seen whose mat play not only involves moving herself around you, but moving your body around too. At several points I was wondering how my legs had wound up in the air or how I had been flipped over or turned around, and she could move around and over and under me with ease. And she wasn't exaggerating about the succubus-course being mouth heavy - I don't think there was a square inch of my body that wasn't in her mouth at some point except above the neck. We were able to fit two rounds in with a soak in the tub and nice conversation between them. We didn't bother drying off or heading to the bed for drinks between rounds since it's such an involved process to cleanup the nurunuru lotion fully.
She's pretty clear she doesn't want you to move or try to help with any of the movements or anything, she is perfectly capable of leveraging herself to move you, and I think it'd be pretty dangerous to have your hands or body in unexpected places during the performance. So if you're unable to keep your hands to yourself it might not be for you, but if you're happy to lay back and be led around to experience a lot of pleasure, I definitely recommend it. She has some damn good skills with her mouth and rides really, really well and hard, but it is worth noting during both rounds we finished by hand because I tend to be a bit slow to finish through sex on the mat and she was getting a bit tired. Another favorite thing about her is she doesn't do any of the typical loud fake moans that a lot of girls do, and it made her heavy breathing and soft moans even hotter, especially as during the riding she kept her mouth pressed against mine and our tongues touching, not really kissing deeply but just enough for me to feel her breath's warmth.
After the second round she had me sprawl out on the mat and covered my back with warm towels and began a pretty nice massage during the cleaning off process, which felt really good and nice, then with 30 minutes on the clock left we headed to bed and cuddled, ordered a coffee, and had a pretty interesting chat about her experience in the industry. She is pretty shy and I think has a lot of issues with self-esteem, and went from being so bad at the mat that her former shop wouldn't let her do it to becoming extremely proficient through hard work and practice. I don't think she is mechanical in her routine because she doesn't enjoy her job or like interaction, but because she has worked hard to develop a routine that she knows feels good and is good and has practiced it over and over. She's definitely a sweet girl and I really look forward to seeing her again in the future. When I told her I wanted to come back she told me to book earlier in the morning and do 2x90 minute sessions instead of a 120+50x so that I'd save some money with their morning time slot prices, which I appreciated.

I normally prefer a little chaotic energy in my providers over a consummate professional, but Misuzu's friendliness and cuteness more than compensated for having a well-ordered routine. I'm sure there are better mat specialists out there, she mentioned an instructor named Sakura who she takes lessons from though I didn't catch the shop name, but I really enjoyed my time with her and was very impressed by her skills. I'm a bigger guy, especially by Japan standards (5'11, 101 kilos) but she was able to work with my body and flip me around with ease. I'm definitely curious about the different playstyles she offers. Overall it was a really good time and a very nice last memory to take with me as I head back across the pond. I'd definitely recommend anyone who is curious about some of the things you can do with the mat check her out. Just remember to be respectful, safe and follow instructions to prevent any danger to yourself or her.
