That's the number of reviews that have been collected by our community to further improve the adult scene in Tokyo for the past nine years.
Approximately 171 reviews have been removed or archived for various reasons and bunch more were held in moderation. (There's a bunch more, but we didn't classify them properly to get a good count. There are 5,472 items currently held in purgatory, we never really physically delete anything.) +13 reviews are in the queue waiting for review or approval at the time of this post.
TAG will celebrate it's 10th birthday this coming fall and your contributions have been the driving force in keeping this place a vibrant and welcoming place, most of the time.
Yes, we're very plain, we know. There's a reason for it. Many of our readers are viewing our site at work, on the train or at their home and it's not easy to read an adult site with flashing ads or a big pair of tits that show up in your face. While we do plan to revamp our image a little, we will try to keep to a low frequency format that keeps our office dwellers happy and safe from nosy colleagues.
Yes, we're picky about reviews. There's a reason for that too. We used to freely accept most reasonable reviews but people started to take advantage of that fact and using us to further their agenda, in the wrong way. We've blacklisted agencies because of either their treatment of clients or feedback that the workers send us through private feedback loops, etc. We don't allow promoted, paid or otherwise compensated reviews. (We sell advertisements, but not in the form of a review or similar content style.) If a shop or independent escort offers a incentive for a review, this sort of material isn't welcome here.
Yes, we're anal about how things are run. If TAG was run with a lesser protocol, it wouldn't have attained the success that we've been so kindly afforded. Many folks have been turned away for varying reasons. They wouldn't have been suitable to acclimate themselves to our corner of the universe.
Yes, we support all lifestyles. We operate TAG to be an accepting and welcoming place where you can ask or discuss any adult topic that may be taboo on other sites. Especially since sexwork in general has taking a huge beating in other countries. Our whole philosophy is 'Normalize Adult Discussions' instead of keeping it locked in the closet.
