Hi all,

Just was checking in on how accurate ages/photos are at these places are? Some places had videos and you could tell that the photos they had were photoshopped a bit.

I have seen the mention here about Yoshiwara age and one place I checked there had some ex AV girls. One the age listed was a difference of 10 years(the birthday on her wiki) and comparing her photos to unshopped photos from her blog there is a HUGE difference. Her face alone looks like a totally different person.

So just wondering how wary one should be.

Photos are hit and miss, ages usually are not exact. I'd add between 2-5 years to what's posted. 8-10 years would be extreme, yet possible.

If give us a name or link, we can check the reputation of the target for age and photos.

Thanks for the reply and info!

Well I was interested in Landmark initially from some postings on here but it looks like they either use old photos or doctor them for the AV people I have seen. I found a couple cases of the difference being 10 years. One example:

http://www.l-mark.com/profile.html?id=135

And her blog that is listed on the profile:

http://blog.livedoor.jp/sumire_shiratori/

Very different photos and 10 years difference between age. :)

Oh my... heavy photoshop and I'd easily guess that she is 40-42 easily, even though it says '24'. Soaplands *are* a special breed and what you see there is what they call "Yoshiwara Nenrei 吉原年齢" -- Which is basically something that only works in Yoshiwara when they advertise girls. You'll rarely if ever will see an age advertised over 25. So, in this case, you can just use the formula of age 25 is actually age 40-45.

I didn't think you were after a Soapland in Yoshiwara, but, there you go.

Found this when I was looking for additional explanations:

http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1196852671 -- The guys replying with the best answer, is basically saying what I said above. He's using a somewhat different scale for ages, but in truth, both scales work depending on which shop.

I was reminded that girls must be 20 to work at a Soapland. So, you'll never see below 20 advertised but there is a rare chance you may find someone that is actually 20-30 if you search hard.

Thanks tons for that and the explanation/links about Yoshiwara soaps. I will take the Japanese lead of Christmas cake and not go with past 25 then. :)

I ended up there mostly because of looking for Kyonuu girls and found a link to a girl that seemed interesting. I think I will skip that especially since reading here on the boards it seems like Landmark is one of the spendier places. I think it would have been disappointed getting someone completely different from the photo after spending that much. :)

Thanks again!

Does this mean I can take 5 years off my age? Ha ha.

I think the truth will come to light if you check out a ladies reviews. Even if a lady doesn't have any on the current site she advertises on for a particular country, you can usually contact her and if she is genuine, she will gladly give you a link to a site where you can view her reviews...

I think you didn´t read the context before posting in this thread. This is not about international escorts, this about "soaplands", a particular Japanese kind of adult entertainment business...
