It seems Alice and Aladdin have closed down in Nakasu, so no idea which shops will take you now, but there are lots of shops in the area. The soapland area is the triangle shaped area just across the water from Canal City Hakata shopping center.

This is true, and a lot of the Soaplands in the Area seem to be more foreigner-friendly as well. Ariel for some reason, which was my go-to is no longer taking foreigners then again it could have been they did not have any women who would take foreigners for that day.

Can anyone advise if there is gaijin-tax at these establishments? I’m anticipating an 10k markup as in Tokyo area, is this the same here?
