Popped up on my radar just recently through a review her on TAG. Tugged away in the jungle of love hotels northwest of the station you find Wakaba which boasts a mix of girls in different ages, the shop has 13 rooms and at most times there is a room available for all girls to meet punters.

I hit the store after lunch on a weekday and am greeted by friendly male staff and are asked how I found the store, nationality and if I know how soapland works.
I later get 2 choices, Amu and Rinka, do you want a younger or older girl I am asked and I settle for the younger Amu.

This still is a bit of a mystery to me. Some in Ikebukuro don't and I think in Yoshiwara there are also rooms without (or maybe I remember it wrong). Asked a girl once and she told me that of course nobody uses them, but they need to have them for the license.
Does anybody know the details? Why does it seem to be slightly inconsistent? Do different soaps have slightly different licenses?

Always have to grin when I read the bits about your deeply routed hatred for Ikebukuro. Hehe. I always find it super chill. No tourists, no annoying touts...you just do your business and afterwards there are plenty of places where you can get great food.

Eh, what’s the problem with Ikebukuro? It’s my favorite part of Tokyo, aesthetically speaking. I just love the mid rise buildings and the colorful signs, very Asian vibe. ❤️

I also love the look of this particular small soapland in the middle of the love hotel area. Really a “did your hotel date stand you up? Come in!” Kinda vibe. It looked cuter before the hideous Marine Blue decorations took over though.

Nice to hear the girls can usually keep their own room for the whole day, definitely a chiller system.

Yes, why on earth would the make a place that’s supposed to be classy like Barubola look so cheap?
The worst are probably those “oiran” oppai pubs with the absurd eyes.

I do like the Hana no keiji pachinkos, that’s a pretty attractive manga style.
But I get what you mean.

Is Barubola supposed to be classy? It's a rather cheap soap in the center of Kabukicho...so the crappy look is kinda spot on 🤣

...but yeah, I can't stand the loud design of all the shops in the Marin Blue Group....Oiran is atrocious as well. CI was probably done by the same guy.

It’s not that cheap. Still over 30000 for the short course even now, but they did not have that option before it was bought up by the marine blue guy afaik and it was similar to Don Juan I think.
It used to be that Shinjuku had two luxury shops, Don Juan and Barubola.
Barubola even had that system that snobby luxury shops have where you can’t select a girl when you come the first time because “all our girls are high quality” (like people don’t have a type!)

Also I think Kadoebi made a luxury soapland in Shinjuku as well now? Forgot the details though, maybe I’m wrong or maybe it’s also not quite that high.

They have one next to Soapland Max, but they only allow a 60 minute course for foreigners, even if you've been before. Not worth it for me, I don't like feeling rushed.

Please expand if possible on this "lottery", are we talking open google maps, search for soapland, close your eyes and click the screen or what?

Really? Their english website has an 80 minute course as well. Hoping that's still the case.

The lottery in this case was going to a shop knowing only the prices but not which girls I could play with.

Ah, OK then. Still quite the gambling element. I figure I'll come across it myself since I haven't tried soaps yet and will only try a couple on my next trip and will most likely just do walk-ins.
I have a pretty wide strike zone so as long as I get full service I won't mind.

Both courses aren't worth it to me when I can take a trip down to Kawasaki to get an extra half hour plus for the gaijin tax, and to deal with much friendlier touts too.
 
What was Amu’s body weight like? Any mid-section? Trying to find some options with thin frames.

I’d try this place at some point.
