Nothing on TAG goes, but as a general rule, any or most of the girls posted with a @gmail.com address is usually controlled by one guy and the pictures aren't always what you get.

It's a 50/50 shot... but by all means, let us know if you decide to meet her and if she's indeed real.

We have been emailing back an forth trying to work out a time/place to meet.
She asked if I can host where I am staying in Gotanda. But I said no because Im staying with other people there. So she asked if I can go to Uguisudani, which I said yes since it is not too far although I am not familiar with that area. Is it a sketchy neighborhood?

I wanted to schedule a time to meet next week, but she said to email her on the weekend to confirm a time/day.

I hope its not a bait and switch. The pics are kinda modest which makes be believe they are legit. Seems like the bait and switcher go overboard and use gorgeous fake pics. I wouldn't say her pics are super hot, but I just dig her look/hair style.

I guess I have a few days to ponder it, but I am really tempted.
 
Her email replies were in english, even when some my emails to her were in romaji japanese. But not perfect english, so she sounds like a japanese writing in english. But I dont really know if it was her or not. Could have been her manager. The emails were short and to the point, but freindly.

Im hoping someone sees this post and shares their good (or bad) experience with her before I decide to pull the trigger next week. Seems like there are so many other proven options in Tokyo. I wonder if I should just take the safe road with my money. But she is really cute to my eyes.

Definitely this! Meet at a well known landmark, and then just walk away if it is not her. (difficult to do if you are meeting in a hotel room)
Jump in a cab and go to Yoshiwara. It is not too far from Uguisudani.

Mind you, with bait and switch the person pulling the strings is not the girl in front of you. She may be unaware of the scam.

I agree with TAG Manager. Meet her in front of the station. There are many hotels in that area. Just walk away in a friendly way if she's the wrong person.

I met her last Feb. She's friendly and sweet but she's not the one in the photo. Her reason was she gained weight. Winter so she had a muffler couldn't get a good look of her. IMHO she's not Japanese. I also get the feeling that she is the one answering the e-mails ... but I could be wrong.

We met at Uguisudani in front of the conbini at the north exit.

A lot of these girls are either Chinese or from the Philippines. There's an occasional mix in there, but Chinese seems the majority since most westerners can't tell the difference between the races.

I think it's both inappropriate and against the rules on this board. @TAG Manager can surely comment about it.

If she is your type, I wouldn't care about the nationality, unless you have to check a bucket list item.

But seriously, just think about why there are so many fake girls on backpage.
Because there are good number of gentlemen! There are gentlemen who cannot reject a girl although they face to obviously different one from their ad.
That's why they still exist. If bait and switch never work, they should not keep putting their ads by now. Make it clear before arranging a date that you won't pay if she is not real.

Could be that they only send a different girl if the girl in the picture isn't available (read this sometimes happens in a thread about the South Asian girls on backpage) so you could still try to meet up at the station or something and leave if the girl of the picture doesn't come. Only if you'd have time for that and it doesn't bother you though.

- If a certain picture was provided to you in confidence, it cannot be shared on this site. (via email, LINE, private message or other private communication media)
- If a certain picture is released on a public website already, it may be shared openly here. (Exception: In case where a picture was shared maliciously on another site.)
- Backpage, Girls Directory, Cracker, etc. - If the picture is posted there, then it should be fine to share here.

Just so we are clear - let's just say that any private pics whether it's a face shot or not, shouldn't shared unless implicit consent has been obtained from the person or persons whom appear in the photograph.

I like the rule very much.
I only wish if my ex FWB had a common sense. He posted my private sexual pics in a public forum without my permission. I don't appreciate it at all.
