Arabesque Or Bliss Out?

I'm trying to decide between Arabesque and Bliss Out for a first visit to a happening bar. I'm visiting with my girl, who is Japanese, but we're not currently living there but visiting for a few weeks. I speak basic Japanese, that's it.

So my questions are:

a) will we have any trouble getting in, given my Japanese is basic?

b) which is more likely to have real action/go off on a Friday night?

c) which is recommended overall?

d) which is most cost effective (initial cost and if we return)?

e) how many foreign guys would be there on an average night?

f) what's the quality of the Japanese girls playing there generally like?

g) will we, or my gf, get hassled to play if we just want to look? Is there a protocol that anyone approaching couple will get the guy's approval if they want to play with the girl?

h) do either have an SM room? if so, is there much action there?

a) Bliss has low Japanese speaking requirements. Arabesque, they don't speak English, but allow foreigners. 9259 (Waku Waku), another happening bar, have low Japanese requirements too.

So, if you bring your girlfriend than you will have no problem. By yourself, depends on you. Give it a try and find out.

b) Action is random. Though Bliss is more likely, because bigger place. You want action, that's Olive 21 (Couple Kissa), but you need to speak enough Japanese to become a member and must bring a woman with you.

c) Depends. Bliss is probably easiest for foreigners to enter. I found Arabesque good for newbie girlfriends that have never been to a happening bar and scared. In that case, less action is good. Once they do Arabesque and calm down in paranoia or hysteria, we then can go to other more action-packed happening bars or parties.

d) Arabesque has the best pricing. 5,000 yen for couples. Bliss and Sleeping Beauty (Shibuya) are among the most expensive for evenings to morning. Bliss, with nomihodai, is 11,000 yen or more for new member charge. However, keep in mind that Bliss is all-you-can drink. So factoring buying drinks at other discos and bars, decent relative to Tokyo night-life.

e) Bliss, Sleeping Beauty, 9259, and Olive-21 are happening bars/couple kissa more likely to have some foreigners. Other places, don't expect foreigners. Bliss being most likely place where there are foreigners. But it's all random and unpredictable, who might come that night.

f) That's a loaded question. But, maybe contrary to those who don't know, some very hot, physically fit, and young women will visit the happening bars/couple kissa.

Part of the reason for this, that many don't realize, is physically fit women have more confidence about their body and being naked.

Couple Kissas tends to have a higher quality than Happening Bars, as stronger preference for younger or more physically fit women to swap. Most couples will not swap if you woman is ugly or out of shape. Again, nakedness leads to better looking women on average.

Age range is across the board. 20 to 40. Who shows when, how they are, is unpredictable and random and depends on the taste of the guy. It's like going to a disco in Roppongi. Nobody can say exactly what you will find.

g) Rules of all happening bars and couple kissas are members are not allowed to harass, be pushy, or cause trouble. If you do, they will kick you out and ban you from ever returning. So, they are actually very safe.

You are free to just look. You might get approached by other members, for conversation. And they might not approach, as you are not of their taste or they are scared to ask. It depends. They might ask you if you want to play or you can ask them. There is no set protocol except respect and be polite.

h) They have S&M toys, but not a specific S&M only room. Bliss has lots of toys, to include whips, handcuffs, blindfolds, shibari ropes, etc...

Keep in mind that they are swinger clubs, so S&M isn't their main theme, but it is a strong secondary theme.

1) You can wear sexy outfits. Many women have worn lingerie and various costumes. It's very common, it's part of the fun and subculture.

2) Taking a shower is the Japanese swinger custom before any play.

If you are just wearing lingerie, you don't have to take a shower. However, it's a good idea to anyway.

3) If you play with another couple, condoms are required. For any vaginal or anal sex.

Oral sex is a gray area. It us up to the other couple/woman if she will do oral sex for you with or without. If they tell you to put on one for oral, then do so.

There can also be oral sex between women too, as some bi-women come to happening bars. This depends on IF your woman AND the other woman are BOTH bi-women. This is something such women will ask or the couples will give permission.

Note- totally lesbian women usually don't go to happening bars, as they have their own clubs. There is NO open bi-male or gay male sex at happening bars, they go elsewhere. That's a totally different scene and subculture.

4) All happening bars and couple kissas have free condoms everywhere and upon request, to include different sizes.

The only exception that I know of is Sleeping Beauty, in Shibuya, Dogenzaka area. This may have more to do with politics and the area. It's in a non-kabukicho and popular area. So higher restrictions might have been pushed on them or they decided to be extra restrictive.

At other happening bars or couple kissas, they respect the privacy of the couple and don't impose. It's your wife or girlfriend, do as you both decide. However, if you interact with any other couple or woman, condoms is the rule.

Like playing the slot machine. Nobody can say when and to what level you will win. Therefore, lower rating, combined with some other issues.

If you want to guarantee a type of play, you need to invite a couple that will do exactly that or you should be proactive in making it happen with other couples you meet inside.

Is there any times days to meet house wives? I used to go to Silk. Kunkun have been to sleeping beauty and Arabesque (timid). But im now looking for older women not in their 20s who know why they came. I like being a cockhold or pleasing older women but not old. Arabesque is presently DEAD, according to swinger pals and what I've seen. The manager quietly changed the bar type.

They went the sneaky/disguised waste of time and money HOSTESS bar route. They now maintain the appearance of still being a happening bar to sucker people in, but nothing going on inside excpet try to TALK your ears off. Even that can be terrible, because the women there can be rude or have no class, maybe they aren't paid enough or just doing favors. So failing, even as a hostess bar.

The women there are paid by the staff or are friends of other women or the staff getting free drinks to help make the place look busy. It can be like a "woman's only" conversation group, so would advise men (Japanese or foreigner) not to come or waste their money.

The only purpose Arabesque would serve for swingers, is for swinger couples who find the hotels next to it were full, so needed a place to sleep for awhile.
