I have a lot of dates planned this month so I can't complain, but it would be nice if I could spend my time/energy on just 1 person. Most dates end up nowhere so it feels more often than not a waste of time. So I can definitely see the benefit of getting married. Finding the right person with same values that doesn't look like a dragon now that's the impossible part..

Ok I’m cynical due to my own experience, but can’t help notice that when it comes to foreigners marrying Japanese spouses , this type of experience seems to be the most frequent case.

I hear this a lot, but is this actually a thing or is it because those people settle for the first person who speaks english?

I agree that women stop making effort when they land a guy. There needs to be a fear of loss if you want women to commit.

They need to have more threesomes. When you see a 20 something girl with a hot body riding your man, it gives you a lot of incentive to exercise five times a week and have a nice attitude (works the other way around too: the guy feels more confident and it adds some spark to the relationship)
