Like almost every man, I like porn, especially JAV. It's pretty amazing to have the freedom to have sex on films (depending on what country you're in)
In short, I like porn and wanna do it.
However, due to my current visa, I'm absolutely not allowed to work as one on a professional level unless I supposedly have a work visa or am here as a permanent resident. And it can take almost half a decade until I meet the requirements to get a work visa or something that allows me to.
Of course, a spouse visa will also allow you to work as one, depending if you have a wife whos okay with being cucked on a daily basis.
In the beginning, I contacted about 5 companies. But the only answer I got was:
''Sorry, we're currently not recruiting any new actors''
Which might have been a polite way of telling me ''We do recruit but not gaijins, pls go away''
Also, for those who may not be aware, a new porn law was passed a couple of months ago which gives more protection to those who work in AV. This law involves anyone who's a actor, actress or even a extra. New or veteran. This means, the shooting can only happen one month after signing a contract, she/he is free to pull out before and after the shooting happens even after signing a contract and does not need to pay the company back. They can also pull out within one year after the film is released and the stores must take away the mentioned films from the stores if they get notified that person, be it an actor or extra who didn't even need to expose themselves, chooses to pull out and wants the film pulled out as well. But the industry doesn't like that because this would hurt them economically if they paid several hundred thousand yen to do a film but then someone gets cold feet and want the whole thing canceled.
So studios are only trusting veterans.
Which makes it difficult for any outsiders and newbies, especially gaijins to participate.
If anyone wanted to join fanfucks, that chance was there until the late 2010s.
Besides, my chances are low anyway, being a white boy in my 20s. I can't really compete with the older black dudes who are currently the only gaijins in the industry. And I don't really have connections with someone in the industry, only those who publish their own stuff as amateurs.
Besides according to some forums, they haven't seen a white guy in AV since 2016-2017.
So okay, if I can't join them, I'll make my own.
My only option would be doujin AV which is not professional work but self made works.
I actually participated in a doujin bukkake shooting a couple of months ago. While I was talking with the guys who were shooting and discussed about my options who said:
''I'm not really sure, but I know even if it's professional shooting or doujin, it's illegal for gaijins like you to get money to participate in porn'' Then he said some other words I didn't understand because my Japanese is of course not perfect.
I asked him if it would be illegal to make and sell my own stuff on FC2 or Onlyfans. He said he wasn't sure.
It seems to be legal to be at least in doujin AV as long as you're not being paid I think. I kinda doubt it would be legal to participate in professional AV even if I don't get money, but I'm actually not sure. Everything seems to be very gray.
Question is, tl;dr...
It seems that it's illegal to get money to do porn, then it might also be illegal to make money from porn? But I can't really find a clear answer anywhere.
Should I toss my interest aside and instead play with girls in soaplands and deriheru or does anyone else have more knowledge than me in the area?
