Best Onsen For Vacation

What's up guys? Last year you were on point with your recommendation to go to places like miyajima, but I never had a chance to hit up an Onsen. I'm back again in April and while there's no shortage of places on the net to reccomend; I figured I'd ping you guys and see what you recommend. Thanks in advance!!
 
How long do you wanna stay and which area are you generally around? Do you want to combine with any other activities?

My favorite place is Kurokawa Onsen, but thats in the middle of Kyushuu. Beppu is a good place if you want to try different types of Onsen. Yufuin also hosts some onen with very nice panorama.
 
Thanks for responding! I'm going to be arriving in tokyo and then have 4 days to kill before I head to Osaka. Because of this I was thinking king hakone?
