Review Narrative:
This has been probably one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. The hospitality I've had in Japan absolutely blew the hospitality I've had in the 5-star hotels in America out of the water. I was a little confused about how to get inside the hotel, but that was just due to my poor planning. The hotel is situated right next to the Shiodome Station and is within walking distance from the much busier Shimbashi Station. It is also near Ginza, which is the upscale fashion district. The hotel is in the Shiodome building, but there is a separate entrance located at the back of the building. I took an elevator to the 28th floor where the reception is.

When I was checking in, they escorted me to the executive lounge to complete my check-in instead of completing my check-in at the hotel lobby, which is pretty nice in size. Upon check-in, I was upgraded from a twin room ($605/night) to a twin suite ($850/night), which was mindblowing. I was also given a complimentary buffet-style breakfast and access to the executive lounge, as well as an ¥18,000 credit for any services at the hotel, whether it be restaurants or the spa. I used the credit to indulge myself in a nice dinner at Kazahana, a Japanese-style restaurant within the hotel. Hilton was running a promotion where Hilton Honors members save more on restaurants, so as a Diamond member, my dinner was discounted by 25%, which meant I practically ate for free.

When I entered my room, the staff delivered my luggage from the executive lounge to my room. Soon after that, they brought a "welcome amenity" which was a couple of grapes and a pastry that tasted slightly like red bean paste. Not bad, I also was not expecting that either. As for the suite, it was huge; there was a main bathroom and a small restroom. The shades were controlled by a button on the wall. My room was overlooking the Hamarikyu Gardens, which was a brilliant sight to see when I woke up. The room had 2 TVs as well as a Bluetooth speaker.

Wish I found this forum sooner, I would have blown a ton more money on some more cost-effective outcall providers, instead of getting gouged by the "foreigner-friendly" delivery health services; especially with how nice the room was. I have had delivery health services delivered to my room; even picked one up from the valet area and walked her to my room. The hotel does not question it at all. Although it may seem like the elevators for the guest rooms need a keycard, they did not require it at the time of my stay.

Next time I need to do better research though, instead of getting fucked by upsells left and right, because this is definitely a hotel worth having an outcall session with, even if it's a bit far from Shinjuku and Shibuya. I will definitely be going back to this hotel when I'm in Tokyo.

Final Rating:
★★★★★ (5 Stars)

I think the price in Yen incorrect as that would put the room over at almost 2K USD.

I stayed at Conrad Tokyo a few times and yes, even their "smallest" twin/king bed room is huge, worth it if you can afford and enjoy with your special lady. City view kinda sucks with nearby towers so you can't just open the windows (unless you like that), but bay view you can do that for sure.

It's great you got the free upgrade since I've heard the upgrades are harder to come by these days. I misse their sometimes 50% off sales that happend a few times in the past.

Based on his per night rate, that would be correct for a 3 night stay. Assuming $605 was the per night rate and the average JPY/USD rate. I think the 280,000 was the total cost?

Yes, the 280,000 JPY was the total cost of the room for 3 nights. Sorry, I should have been more clear on that.

It was indeed a 3 night stay which cost about $1800-1900 according to today's JPY/USD rate. My apologies, I should been more consistent with my currencies as well!

I never knew this was an actual hotel. I just know the A Tribe Called Quest song "Conrad Tokyo".

Now I feel like a dummy.

Excellent hotel and very discreet. I have stayed a few times and never had an issue with my romantic guests. On the opposite, they were courteous. It's worth what it costs. This range of hotels in Tokyo has almost quadrupled their high rates. They must wipe out the losses from the pandemic, and as long as tourists pay, they will continue to rise. I keep it on my list, but just for special occasions.

I do wonder what the P4P budget looks like for someone who can afford to spend 280k on few days at hotel.

I can provide transparency on that. I actually spent 7 nights at Conrad Tokyo for about $4712.28 which is around 694k JPY. Most of that was paid with Hilton Honors points or through a free night. They were non-consecutive, as I stayed in Osaka for 4 nights at the Conrad Osaka (also a very very nice hotel, I'd argue it's better than Conrad Tokyo), so I unfortunately didn't keep the suite for all 7 nights. So out of the 7 nights I stayed at the Conrad Tokyo, I only paid for 3 of them.

As for the P4P, I spent 461k JPY in total for the 2 weeks I was in Japan. Honestly, with how expensive P4P is in America, I got a lot more than I expected and honestly I don't think I want to continue P4P in America anymore lol. I am paying significantly more for less services. Japan is so far ahead of the game when it comes to P4P. I'm jealous of yall and I can't wait to come back.

You had a great time! Congrats! Some things in life are priceless!

Points are sweet. I rack them up with credit card churning. I always think it's sort of funny because I dress very casual (t-shirts all the time) and I stay at cheap business hotels and airbnbs, but when actually traveling by plane its always international business or even first class on those few airlines that still offer it. Shit, I even was doing this when I was younger and walk off an expensive business class plane seat and into a $20 hostel room, back in my early 20s.

The one trip where I actually paid for nice hotel rooms was November 2022 when Japan was still barely reopening. I booked all the hotels a few months earlier for so cheap so I figured may as well get nice ones.

That's what caught me too. Never been refused service because of that?
On planes? No never, honestly there's a lot of people who dress very casually in business/first on planes even in Asia too.

I am the opposite, lol. I cheap out on the airplane tickets but I go all out on the hotels. Technically it's more cost effective to use your credit card points on transfers for business/first class flights but I'd rather use those points to fly through the Pacific for free and then shell out my cash on the nicer hotels. I can repeat this multiple times because it doesn't take many points to fly to Japan from my home airport (PDX); though flying business internationally is on my bucket list in the future. I am in my really really early 20s, like I was born in the early 2000s, so there is still a lot for me to learn in this very expensive hobby.

I didn't even wear "fancy" stuff at the hotel per se, it was just pants and a random t-shirt I felt like wearing. Everyone in the hotel was wearing higher class attire, but I'd be eating at the same place as them but wearing super casual attire. When I ate at Kazahana prior to my check-in, I actually brought a huge Sanrio plushie I won at the arcade (Melody) and the staff thought it was cute, lol! My first ever flight in first class I wore pajamas because I might as well get super comfortable. Hopefully Amex has a promotion on transferring points again because I have over 100k points to blow and hopefully it's on another flight to Japan.

Zuckerberg, Elon Musk... they usually wear t-shirts. They probably think you're a tech CEO. 😂

I think most airlines now give the flight attendants info about people in the seats which probably indicate I paid with miles so they know im a fraud

I think so, they check it. Your passenger information shows that it is a reward ticket and your frequent flyer status. If the frequent flyer status is the top one, some airlines are exceptionally courteous to that passenger, providing a kind of VIP service.

Yeah points can get you access to those lux things everyone thinks only rich people can afford (like first class and fancy hotels). I don't mind travelling economy, so I sell the bulk of my credit card churning points to a Chinese broker for cash, which I can then use for P4P, hehe.
How I see it: With each bonus I can choose between either a business class flight to Tokyo or economy class flight with sex and blowjobs. The choice is obvious.

A business partner once took me out to eat some kind of specialized beef / tongue dish that cost 50,000 Yen (sorry, don't know the name in Japanese).

The same guy was a huge fan of dirt cheap pink salons. Especially when they did the 2 for 1 specials.

I am the exact opposite. I won't even travel if I have to sit in coach.

Ah that pains me. I value points so much higher than their cash out equivalent. Most of my trips to Japan from the US have only cost me 47.5k points each way, which is often more like 38k points due to transfer bonuses that happen. There is a cash component too, normally around $200 or so. So on average I can call it 40k points + $200, round trip about $80k + $400. Roundtrip business class on a good airline (in this case its ANA) cash price from the US is pretty much like always $5k+ I believe. The good part is 80k points is less than 1 credit card sign up bonus in some cases.

A bad news. I recently had an opportunity to visit Conrad again. It seems like now they require a keycard for the elevator all time.

Yet, it is no problem to meet your date in the lobby or elevator hall on the lobby floor (28th floor) and bring them up to your room.

What?! Thanks for the heads-up!!!

That's a big disappointment. I was about to book this hotel for that reason (and being a 5-start) alone...
