I'll keep it simple and organized for you guys. Obviously I'm still a n00b, but I did do a lot of research before asking!

Background
  • Been going to Tokyo once or twice per year for past three years due to work.
  • On a trip earlier this year, I finally dabbled in an Escort/DH service after a ton of research and hesitation.
  • Researched a lot of Gaijin-friendly agencies and settled on one that fit my mid-to-high budget and also had a frequently updated and clean web-site.
  • Initially made rookie mistake of wanting it to be "more" with one of the girls, but it just took some time for me to gain some distance from the experience and realize that it was paid entertainment and not reality (and that's okay).
Now
  • Returning this week and contacted the agency about two months ago in order to inquire if the girl that I liked the most (no, not to be "more") would be available.
  • First they said it was too early and to contact them again as the time got closer. So I did that and they said she would be available but they wanted to know which specific days and packages I was interested in.
  • But then they came back and said she's unavailable over the entire ten-day range of my trip due to family travel. In addition, that ten day range is this upcoming week (September 10 through September 20th). More on that later.
  • Before this, I had kind of ruled out all of the other agencies since I have some repertoire with the "boss" (or at least I like to think that I do), but now I am considering some more because I want to branch out and also because this one is pretty limited in terms of packages/options.
My Questions
  1. At the risk of sounding attached and clingy, I'm curious if the girl that I met before really has that time off or if "family travel" is the agency's way of telling customers that she's fully booked? (I think this week or the week after is some sort of festival/holiday, but is it really common for people to take that long of a vacation?) She hasn't been appearing on their web-site since June but they still keep her on there and reply to my inquiries about her. Is it possible she has moved on to another agency or works at multiple agencies?
  2. When it comes to selecting agencies, I chose a mid-to-high cost one since I was pretty nervous and so I associated higher costs with more safety and less hassle. However, after some more research, I am seeing significantly large price discrepancies between agencies for seemingly the same service and arguably the same quality of girls. So can anyone help me to understand why some places charge 25,000 JPY for two hours while others charge 100,000 JPY? This is a serious question I am not trying to be sarcastic.

It is common for them to leave a girls photo & info for months after she has left & has no intention of coming back. See if she has a photo blog & when was the last time she posted.

You do sound a little attached and clingy. Something you need to learn in the hobby is that while there's less friction in getting sex with a woman, there's still friction. It's unclear if you were contacting the same agency to see the same girl that you 'wanted more' from or not, and what exactly 'wanting more' actually means in terms of how you acted around her. If it was the same girl and you got weird with her, there's definitely a chance that you got put on a 'don't see' list, and you need to respect that. Sure, someone can take a few weeks off for travel/visit family, etc, especially if she doesn't have a day job. Escorts keep weird schedules, and sometimes they need R&R and those vacations sometimes last a while.

The fact is that information about providers is often kept purposely nebulous to protect their privacy, both because they might not want the world to know what they do for a living and also for the woman's safety. I would choose an agency with the best reviews, not the best prices. There's a number of agencies out there that charge ¥40,000 or more for foreigners simply because they can, and it has nothing to do with the quality of the provider or the safety of the agency. Japan is incredibly safe (although not 100% safe obviously), so as long as you take your own precautions with personal information, virtually any fuzoku org that has decent ratings is going to be safe. The hobby market for foreigners in Japan is so small that there's really no 'market effects' here, and prices will be all over the place for really no reason.

You are paying a gaijin tax to be able to deal with people in English, and because they have to offer higher pay for English-speaking Japanese providers (or Japanese women willing to escort with a guy whose language they don't/barely speak). Other than that, for legit agencies anyway, the price may somewhat based on the perceived quality of women, generally looks, youth, intelligence, etc.

If you are going to be in Japan a lot I'd redouble your efforts to get to a level of conversational Japanese where you can go to regular delivery health places. As per my 'example' review here, I saw a JP porn star for almost the same rate that Asian Mystique charges, and there's a lot of stunning young ladies out there willing to play.

The guide shops are helpful if you speak Japanese or are with someone that does. Aside from that, I'd rely on reviews here and elsewhere. Don't deal with touts or streetwalkers.

Thanks for the welcome, the work on this site, and of course for the detailed and insightful response, meiji. That really helped and opened my eyes to some things.

I do want to take a moment address some of your comments with clarifications and follow-up, though (this also applies to Desktop's reply).

For point #1, I agree with a lot of what you said, especially regarding not dwelling on the reason since I will never know nor does knowing help me all that much. But just to fill in some gaps, it was the same girl and at the same agency. In addition, the girl didn't really frequently post on their internal blog, and her last post was in late Spring of this year (shortly after my visit--which she made reference to in a post as well). I didn't check the site daily in the months since then, but based on the absence of her blog updates relative to other girls, my guess is that that she has moved on either from this agency or this profession. So my question to you is: Why would they bother reaching out to her about my inquiry if she isn't really actively working with them anymore? Do they have so-called "part-time" or "flex-time" girls who they keep in touch with but don't necessarily staff multiple days a week? For example, if there's a girl on the site that hasn't posted or been shown as available since 2015, but I ask about her, will they really make an effort to get in touch with her?

And while I may indeed sound clingy, I am quite confident that it was not about things being weird as she is not listed on their site for the dates I requested (ie. if it was just her not wanting to see me, they wouldn't de-list her from the site entirely and shut her out from other potential customers).

For point #2, you really opened my eyes and allowed me to re-evaluate my approach. I realized that expensive sites exist for guys like me who think that it makes things "safer" or "better quality", and cheaper sites exist for guys who just want to experience something within their budget. In fact, in theory, there could even be two agencies with the same exact girls and services, but just two separate web-sites and price ranges that serve two different types of clientele.

For point #3, I mostly knew this, but your reassurance was useful. I don't really have any Japanese-speaking friends who I am close enough with to go with me on that type a visit, but I'll check out reviews here for some of the more creative in-call services.

Someone did his homework! Also, her reference to your encounter in a post might have confused you a little bit more, but the true is, that blog is part of her work.
So you did not check the site daily ? mmmmmaybe just twice per week? and if free time allowed it, you put in another quick visit a saturday?

1. If youre not obsessed with her like you claim, just get over that she blatently doesnt work there anymore and move on. Thousands of other girls out there!
2, sex industry is a lucrative business here. Want English speaking providers／organisation? Pay more. There also itsnt real competition. Just look at meijis points again!
3.if you dont speak Japanese and want to go somewhere in kabukicho. Be smart and do youre research here into places that accept foriegners, many well reviewed on TAG! Just pick the place and head on over. Pretty simple! Also, rule of thumb dont talk to the nigerian guys or any other touts.

No I did not check the site for months at a time as much as it makes you feel better about yourself to believe I'm a seedy and obsessive type. And no, I do not expect her to be somewhere else and even if I did, it's not like that means I would be able to find her. My question was more around general industry and if their response was genuine or not so that I'm not wasting my time with them on my next trip.

Sure, I can say that I would prefer to see her over other girls, but to say that I'm playing out scenarios in my head is excessive as I have a full-time job and other priorities in my life. I'm looking to make the most out of my rare one week trips to Japan and if I found something good, why should I risk spending so much for someone new that I'm not sure about?

It really wasn't blatant to me as I wasn't aware that they just leave their pics on their and still respond to them, but now I can see that this is just how things operate.

It helps. When they approach me or speak to me I tend to look extremely bored and indifferent (because I am). That helps too. Mainly though, just flat out ignoring them as though they don't exist or as though they were flies buzzing in front of your face on a sweaty day will do it.

With the overall complete alignment with @meiji answer, I would like to add one thing...
You had a great time with this girl. This is fantastic and it happens only once in a while with p4p.
Then consider yourself lucky for that. These are great moments I personally cherish.

When it takes a few days to come back to earth after a great date, when you are feeling such connection, you are simply enjoying some of the best things in life.
