Hi all, just wondering as I would be staying at a 4-5 star hotel in Shinjuku and if I wanted to book a P4P escort, would there be a problem for her to come up?

The hotel would have a keycard access so I gathered once the girl arrives I would go down and bring her up but would the security at the lobby stop or prevent us from going up? Like most 4-5 star hotels, they have this "only registered guests" can go into the rooms or else they will charge an "occupancy fee".

I know many here have called for escorts to their 5 star and upmarket hotels so just wanted to know if I would run into any problems.

Oh and I would be staying at Keio Plaza Shinjuku if anyone has any insights

Thanks!

Haven't stayed at the Keio Plaza before. If it requires a key card, that's a bit of a complication, but generally if the front desk isn't directly next to/facing the elevators, you are probably okay. Find a place in the lobby that's easy to describe and easy to find, and meet the girl there, and then just go up in the elevator as if nothing is wrong. Or if you are super-paranoid and aren't there on an expense account, ask the front desk what the 'occupancy fee' is and pay it.

Thanks Meiji

Damned, now I can't book a girl and then check in and wait for her. Would need to do a little reccee first.

Really depends on the provider or org. For established orgs, f you tell them what hotel you are staying at, they'll probably know how 'girl friendly' the hotel is.

Often you can walk down to the garage and take the lift from there without being exposed to the front desk.
Upscale hotels usually aren't that small, so the lobby isn't either. Unless you order at 1am there is also a good chance it won't be empty.
I stayed s few times at the Hilton in Shinjuku and I'm pretty sure I saw some ladies walking in there. They surprisingly have no keycard for elevator though.
I usually book hotel for 2 persons as it is the same price anyways and more upscale hotels usually hand over two keycards too, even if you only register one guest. If not, ask for one, as you need to charge your electronics, while you are out...

Haven't stayed at the Keio Plaza but have had visiting guests stay there. Lobby floor is very big and usually busy and as I recall the elevators are not directly near the front desk. Would not expect any problems.

Keio Plaza is fine. I've had women up to my room when I've stayed there. It's actually better to meet them in the lobby as you can bail if it is a bait and switch.
Like anything, you need to look the part. March through like you own the place and no one will say anything.

Like @RandomTokyoGuy I often book for 2 anyway as there is little or no price difference on a double room.

Last few times in Tokyo I've had overnight visitors and actually left before them as I've had to catch an overseas flight early. Settle the bill the night before and then just leave them the keys.

I get receipts to claim as a business expense and they don't list the number of people in the room.
