Hello,

I've read many stuff about it but I still have some questions I wanted to ask about "night life" in Tokyo.

Do you need to reserve your love hotel yourself with soap lands? I don't know Japanese so I think it would be hard to manage both soap land and love hotel. At first I thought soap lands had their own rooms but after reading so many stuff I am really confused.

Second question is, is there a service where no sex is provided but I can "play" with the women, touch and you know, lick her and stuff. Is that a thing? Basically cheaper but no penetration. I don't think I will last long so I would prefer time based service.

Third, I've checked out the reviews and big soap land list but prices vary a lot, it seems you can hire one with around 20k for an hour but I'm not sure if there are other expenses, are there?

Thanks

I guess soapland indeed have their own rooms but when I check prices in the big list, they are so expensive, is it better to use "escort services" and love hotels?

Soaplands indeed have their own rooms and they are guaranteed to offer full service and thus priced accordingly. It's not bad to experience it once or twice with the bathmat washing and etc more specific to the soaplands. Not sure where you see only 20k yen an hour though, those are more like really low end soaplands with below average girls.

No other legit adult services would offer FS (but you might know, there's always exceptions).

Escort services aren't that cheap either, 16k/17k yen an hour or more is the norm, and you have to spend on a lovel hotel room.

Most adult services are timed based so there's no need to hurry.

Most of the numbers I've seen on reviews are around 20-30k, on the big list though it starts around 40-50k, that's what confused me. With escorts it would be like 20k + 5-10k hotel price I guess and maybe even some money for girl coming there so prices are close to soaplands I guess, would that be correct assumption?

To be fair I'm not going to spend tons of money on soapland/escorts, I want to travel Japan (after corona of course) and while there I want to experience it probably just once. I don't even care if the girl or service is top tier or something like that. I'm just looking for a simple service with only English so soaplands would be the better choice I guess.

I know I don't need to hurry but I feel like it won't be in my control to be honest. That's why I need "unlimited" service, just in case, hopefully they are common.

By the way, I will create a topic before when I'm able to go Japan (because we have no clue how long will this corona thing take), but is there any "you can't go wrong" soaplands with English knowing and foreigner friendly staff, "unlimited" sessions with decent price?

If you want a better experience, learn some Japanese in the time before you arrive. Anything that caters to those who demand English only are usually more expensive and a lesser quality. You're not going to be getting the Japan™ experience. Just some basic words and understanding will open many more doors, easily.

I actually study Japanese for fun (very very VERY beginner) but like I said, I don't go to Japan for sex at all. I just want to experience it so it's okay even if it's little bit expensive than normal and not the best experience, as long as I don't get some racial treatment it's fine. Of course I don't want to get kicked in first hour because I came twice. Though I'm not sure how knowing little Japanese may help me, can you explain that a bit? Is it about talking to the staff or the girl?

About Thailand, again, sex is not the main point of my travel.

If you don't speak even little Japanese your chances will be reduced by more than 90%, and you will also pay more (gaijin taxes). Since you cannot communicate with the staff or with the girl, that is considered by them as a risk.

I just need to find English speaking staff and maybe even a girl, even tiny bit of English is fine. I know that limits my options but it's not like people learn Japanese just for going soaplands, that would be insane dedication. If "night life" is big part of your travel or daily life sure that makes sense but I will just go once and that's all. That's probably the same for %90 of the foreigners using these services. I've realized many people here actually consider these things important part of their life, for example you have around 900 messages, like maybe weekly thing or something but again, that's not common, especially if you are not living in Japan.

So basically I'm not looking for the best girl or experience, I'm not looking for the best price either, 35-40k price range with decent service with some English is enough for me.

The same ratio applies to enjoying your experience in Japan in general. If you don't speak a little Japanese you will miss out on fully enjoying this culture and the country. To think that people learn Japanese to go exclusively to sex shop would be a bit narrow focus. Let's say that it is another motivation and another way of practicing the language as well as another. In fact you are already studying it. Good luck and have fun when you come.

Thanks. I hear this "little Japanese" a lot though, what do you guys mean when you say "little"? Like I can form very simple sentences if I know the word, sure they wouldn't be perfect grammar but understandable I guess. For example something like (pardon my romaji) "ashita Kyoto e ikimasu" or simple stuff like that, is that the "little Japanese" you mean or are you talking about something like N5 level at least or something?

An equivalent to an N6, if such existed.

Just an opinion here, but I have run into some real cuties with a price tag between 18-22k for 60 minutes. If girls at these joints are below average then folks must be buying supermodels or JAVs.

Hard to give you a clear answer since all shops are different. Some places might let you in if you're able to spit out key words and it looks like you somewhat understand what they say. Other shops are ready to shut you down the second you fuck up one sentence. Only way to know is to go and check yourself.

That or just go the safe route and call a provider that advertises here or any of the other foreigner friendly shops talked about here.

Tencho or 店長 is the store manager and almost always singular. Store staff - largely male - is more than one. Note the Tencho is usually an employee like the staff they manage as opposed to having an ownership stake in the establishment. Tenchos have more flexibility and authority in making decisions and policies about who gets in and who doesn’t - but owners of course have the ultimate power. Staff are largely only able to apply the rules and guidelines set by the Tencho and owner(s) - such as checking Japanese level if that is the benchmark.
