First timer in Japan

Hi there and thanks for accepting me to the forum. I am visiting Japan for the first time and wanting to get a tast of the night life while I am there. From what I have read if I am wanting to get a FS soaplands is my best option? My Japanese language skills are next to zero.I will be staying in the Itabashi area. Will going to Ikebukuro area be a good option for a soapland or should I look to other areas. (Hope this question is ok to ask). Thanks in advance
