Unless it's really underground stuff I don't think the article really holds up.
Seems more like a political piece. Most women are in porn for many many years. Some even transition into acting and comedy (like Mihiro, Honoka and countless others).
If it really is that bad why keep doing it?
 
I think some of these young ladies are recruited under false pretenses.

I believe many of these ladies are not truly aware of what they are getting themselves into. When they sign the contracts they are distracted by the potential money they can make and not fully aware of the fine print. I can't believe a young lady would knowingly sign up to be in movies where she is getting gangbanged or whatever the case. Some these ladies have little to no sexual experience.

I see. I'm certainly not privy to the wording of those contracts, but I can see part of your point. The law still remains on the women's side if they decide that the work is truly abusive and violates basic rights. Sure, they may feel pressured to complete a role because after all, they did sign a contract....

It's tough to judge what's really happening when looking from outside, in...

Soapland ladies are usually under contract, delivery health varies from agency to agency.
