Red lights definitely have been crossed. The last guy in our group on my first go around ran one. The guides generally know the timing of all the lights and will stop at the light even if it's still green if there isn't time for the whole group to cross but sometimes they misjudge. What you are SUPPOSED to do of course is stop at the light and the guide will pull the group over and wait for you but that isn't what always happens. Anybody who thinks Japanese drivers never use the horn, run a red light in a go kart lol. They leaned on that horn hard!
