How did you happen to find her? If it's through Craigslist, etc, I'd be very cautious about going to her place. Research her name/number/email or whatever and see if there's reviews out there.

For a first date, I'd say that paying for a LH room (doesn't have to be a fancy one) would be well worth the reduction in both risk and anxiety/stress. If you decide to see her again, it would seem much less risky to go to her apartment, assuming you have a good feeling about her from her first date.

I would be very careful about going to her apartment. FL are usually VERY cautious about where they go and with whom, like needing a return call phone number or avoiding certain places. As one said to me once, "if you think I am going to go into a hotel room with a guy I don't know for sex with no security - forget it!" I suggest you best think the same way. Once in her apartment you could be open to any number of scams. I think guys even taking escorts to their own apartments are brave! Love hotels - and good ones can be very reasonable - are the way to go, and you don't have to face the neighbors later. Neutral territory and much more fun.
