Hey guys! Could someone recommend me a good restaurant for lunch in Shinjuku that is within (high-heels) walking distance from the love hotel Pash? I will take my young SB to celebrate her blooming 22 years birthday. I wouldn't like her to sprain her ankle before the final party at Pasha.

Um..... Maybe others have some better ideas, but the only place I really take dates to around there is Tsuru TonTon (Udon place). [This is a a very frequent Dinner to Pasha date place for me] It's just a few minutes walk from the good Pasha. (not the shitty resort one)

There are plenty of izakayas around there, but for lunch, I'm not sure what a good option is...

MoMo Paradise (in this building https://goo.gl/maps/uMAiFnX7LQPM1eaEA) is fairly good for Shabu-Shabu...

There are a lot better choices south of Yasukuni dori -- Isetan Kaikan (https://goo.gl/maps/rpvU3CPcbVzJNSkx5) has a few good options, I usually go to the Thai place there.

Umm... I'm also a big fan of KICHIRI (https://goo.gl/maps/iWtmxNVXmCDfnWfr6) The whole of 3-Chome has some good choices overall.

Have been to a few places, but I think the only one that was really memorable for me was LIME. Went on a date with my girlfriend, and it was the perfect fit for that. Food was good probably nothing too special, but the atmosphere of the place is amazing. As far as I can remember they have different kinds of seating for different occasions. We had a small cosy table with lounge chairs directly in front of the aquariums...

Sorry, overread the lunch bit 🤷🏼‍♂️ ....in this case my suggestion is off the table. Guess a lot of cosier places are not open during lunch hours.

Lunch is tough in that area. Which is fitting since all things Kabukicho are best at night. Since I tend to be lunch over dinner, I’ve spent a bit of time looking around, but still need to look more.

Right around the corner from Pasha is a sushi place called Yarou Sushi. Not fancy, kind of old school. I went this past summer and 2 lunch sets with 2 beers was around 6k total. It’s reliable if you want a place that’s incredibly close to Pasha.

10 min walk away, 15 in heels, you can find many places in 3-Chome. The two I’ve enjoyed the most have been:

Jackpot: for Oysters. Seems many women really enjoy them. It’s a casual spot, which focuses on the food. So good balance. Bill was around 8-9k at lunch.

Elsa: Casual Italian. It’s reasonably priced, and a nice experience.

Thank you very much @Fifty Fifty. It's certainly not the best area to reserve a table at noon. But with the suggestions you all have given me I hope to find a place where my girl can blow out… her birthday candles.

There's a nice yakiniku place on the edge of the love hotel area. If you walk from the direction of Godzilla to the love hotels with the cinema on your left, it is on your right, maybe across the road from the APA?
If you carry her maybe you can make it to san-chome where they have lots of nice places - Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Japanese.

If you’ve time, suggest taking a walk through the area prior to see where you plan to go. I know it’s sounds odd.
In the past, I’ve made the mistake of not knowing exactly where I was going, and took one gentle soul on an unnecessarily exhaustive trek.
After that afternoon, I started doing that spy movie/racing car getaway recon planning. Makes the world of difference in your attitude.

It is a good idea to avoid surprises. Since there isn't a restaurant that takes reservations at noon, I'll drop by a little earlier to take a look.

Final report: We went to Isetan Kaikan, which was less crowded. I let her choose between Thai and Sushi and she chose Sushi. We enjoyed the food! Thanks guys for your help! 👍 The other options remain for the future.
