Has anyone ever been mushroom picking in Japan?

So today is going to be a fun day. Going with some friends to Umegashima in northern Shizuoka prefecture to go shiitake mushroom hunting/picking. We will then be able to cook all the mushrooms we gather as shiitake pizza and BBQ (meat and other veggies).

I was just checking some photos out and this area looks really gorgeous too. Definitely going to check out some of the waterfalls and possibly some of the little temples if we have extra time. The onsen area looks great too.
