I've lived in Tokyo for a few years now, and I've been a lurker at TAG for a while now. I recently started moonlighting (dabbling, really) as a male escort. It's been fun, all word of mouth so far. I get the impression that TAG is mostly men (I'm straight, but not narrow!), so I don't know if this is a good way for me to meet potential clients, but I figured it's a good time to start participating anyway.

Name changes can be requested in your user panel. But, as you noted, multiple accounts are not permitted. (Very easy vehicle for abuse.)

Mostly wealthy, married, foreign (from other Asian countries) women so far. I don't speak much Japanese, though I'm learning, so that limits me considerably. But I have a professional career otherwise, so I only need or have time for a few regular clients anyway.

Welcome to TAG! I've only been involved with the community for 18 months, but you're definitely the first male escort that I've encountered here. :)

That wouldn't surprise me! :p I think most guys would love to get paid for sex, but they don't realize that's only a part of what you're providing. Most ads I've seen elsewhere are pretty crass, no artfulness to them at all. Very true. It works for both genders indeed. The "genuine interest and connection" part is very important but hard to establish , especially at first time. I guess I would like to try you as an escort if you were a lady! :)

So you are focused on foreign clients? That's good as I am doing the same kind of work for the Japanese ladies. Not as a paid professional though. For me it is like volunteer work to give back to the community. :p
