Thanks everyone for the advice/responses - had a very pleasant stay in Tokyo recently and confirm Hyatt Regency Tokyo does not require keycard for elevator access so your companion can go straight to your room.

I guess this thread is still useful to resurrect.

I was using Shinagawa Prince with their day use package recently. At 13,500 for 5 hours from 14:00-19:00 , it isn't cheap. The room isn't that big but the bed is really good and springy

This is at the main building. I used fake name, checking in alone and meet the lady at the lobby. She was actually there before me.

The elevator required access card to access the floor.

The best thing is the view from the window. My lady of that day doesn't seem to mind to have sex next to it, so I was banging her from behind looking down at Shinagawa station and also the plane landing at Haneda. It was in broad daylight.

I realized after the fact that people can actually see you form the street if they look up, oops.
