How has COVID-19 affected your mongering?

Didn't affect me one bit. Still saw 2 agency escorts like I would normally do although last time it was 3 and this time would have been 3 if not for lack of funds. Although perhaps it depends on location for some mongers. Escorts I saw were based in Osaka and Kyoto which according to online incidence were very low for coronavirus. Hokkaido, Tokyo, Nagoya and Wakayama had the highest incidence of virus as of last report I saw.

My normal P4P life is probably extremely boring compared to most on this site. A happy ending once a month to treat myself and the occasional full treat a few times per year. I visited a shop early January, but not since. I’ll be in Tokyo for business early March and what I do will depend on the news. If I decide to go for it, I’m thinking I’ll pass on my favorite happy ending parlors, with multiple customers huffing and puffing as they shoot their load in the next cubicle, and just go with an independent at a nice upscale love motel.

Didn't affect it....just went out spontaneously yesterday evening to see a girl.
Maybe affected it in a different way. Was no problem to get a room at my favorite hotel during a Friday evening. Usually I don't go there in the evening because there are always people waiting. I could imagine business is down at a lot of places and people book less rooms because of that.

Will probably stay away from Sekukyabas.....girls rotating every 10 minutes to stick their tongue down another stranger's throat doesn't seem too save at the current point in time :dead:

Well, yesterday one of the massage places I visit informed me that they are shutting down next week, probably for a month. Could be a coincidence and they just want to use a relatively dry period, but I assume it's connected to the difficulty of actually getting staff there (the ladies are mostly Chinese).

Maybe Frenchy can rent a stall there :p:p:p

Hey there,

Went to one of my favorite Pinsaro in Osaka last week. While waiting for a booth to be free, I had some small chat with the manager: he told me from last week until further notice that they wouldn't be any more kissing allowed + mandatory condom for all (don't know what that one has to deal with Coronavirus though ;))...

I never go for BJ there by choice but usually go for a nice lenghty 20 minutes HJ + boobs play so I don't know if the rule applied for all or just for westerners speaking Japanese like me that ask for these kind of stuff...

However I do think the level of "paranoïa" is high here at the moment. The same guy was telling me that the activity was a bit down at the moment even though they have some of the most competitive prices in town. The supermarket by my home was running out of toilet paper, hand sanitizer and kleenex with a sign posted about a rumor spreading on social media about shortage of such items connected to the Coronavirus fear...:shifty:

One of the jukujo delivery health I frequent has been "on break" for over a week now. Their website doesn't specifically say it's cause of the corona virus but it's the first time I've seen them just shut down.

THE LH that I visited only had 3 rooms available at the time. It doesn’t look like certain gents are slowing down.

But I did read that an onsen had to file for bankruptcy recently. So it might be too early to tell if desire will be overcome by fear of COVID-19, and whether or not this outbreak will finally slow the red light business. Super G didn’t, syphilis didn’t, and legionnaires didn’t. Hell, the fact that all sorts of bacteria, yeast, fungus, and viruses are in LHs hasn’t slowed mongers down leads me to surmise that this won’t either.

Love hotels aren’t only used for business but by various of people who need discretion. Considering how thin most walls of Japanese houses/apartments are.... a lot of students use them as well.

I actually use them for conference calls when I'm on the road. They're relatively inexpensive, they're quiet, and the look on the faces in accounting when I hand in the receipt is a laugh.

I go to one of those super onsen in Tokyo almost on a daily basis and I can positively confirm that not a single person is staying home because of Corona, rather the opposite. Obviously I can't speak for the woman's side, but just the various waiting/chilling areas have plenty of them too.
Could of course be if it's in a remote location ...
If I was one of those guys relegated to teleworking who recently had his children sent home from school, I would pick up the wife (assuming I had one) and children and embark on an onsen trip to all those places I always wanted to go to, but could never afford/have the time to;)

Just curious, what do you consider a "super onsen" and which ones do you recommend? I absolutely fucking love those huge onsen establishments, like Spa World in Osaka (incidentally, the ONLY thing I love about Osaka) but in Tokyo the only ones I've been to are Odaiba Onsen Monogatari and then Spa Laqua, and Laqua is definitely the nicer option. On my final day in Japan, as my flights are usually in the evening and I have to check out of my hotel by 11am, I usually spend three or four hours at LaQua, lounging around, drinking beers and having a nice tendon and zaru soba, drinking more beer and more beer and more beer and when I'm nice and intoxicated I go leer at the young girl (if any) in the akasuri room while rubbing my crotch. LaQua is perfect for classy guys like me.

In your case LaQua is probably the best option
There is also Niwa no Yu next to Toshimaen , but its a bit far from the center

Well, my Japanese friends usually refer to places that carry real onsen water to Tokyo as super onsen or super sento. I haven't put too much thought into that. But there is this place near Shinjuku-sanchome. I think the other place I frequently go to near where I live is actually a real onsen.

I like places with a more traditional atmosphere, so neither Odaiba nor LaAqua is particularly appealing to me.

I think Higashi Kurume also had a nice place. Few years ago friends took me there by car a few times, but without a car that's rather inconvenient.

Yeah, I'd seen reviews of Niwa No Yu but it was just a bit far for me. It does look very nice, though. My only beef with LaQua is the rotenburo is so small. The plus side is the resting area lounge chairs are fucking amazing, with charging outlets and drink service, especially if I'm still suffering from the previous night's sayonara party at the craft beer bar. Once I ended up just passing out in a recliner for over three hours and when I woke up I felt fantastic. Final soak in the bath, dress and start drinking my way to Hamamatsucho and Haneda Airport and be drunk and comfortably numb by takeoff time.

Roger that, we just have different tastes. The traditional places are great, but I'll admit I actually like the "theme park" atmosphere of some of the large spas. I can get a soak, akasuri, head to the dining area for a few "mega beers" and a nice ramen and maybe karaage, soak again, drink even more and then try hitting on the middle-aged women at the food court. I prefer LaQua to Odaiba is it's definitely less family-friendly so that means no children running around screaming bloody murder as is typical with Japanese. Ruins my buzz.

I don't dare to say, just entered the onsen near my home and they are closing down because of Corona for one week. Luckily only starting next week, but wtf ...

I wonder if they ran out of water and soap? :D

Two of the places I frequent are temporarily closed..personally not too concerned about possibly getting covid-19 from the ladies.
