How to get Viagra or other ED pills in Tokyo.

Hey,
I’ve had two easy experiences getting Viagra in Japan. The first was Shibuya 3rd block clinic, I went to their website and signed up for an online consultation. I had to download an app called Clinics and make a booking.

Quick video consultation about side effects and heath condition. Minimal Japanese needed really. Tell him what you want and how many and they’ll charge your card and it took 5-7 days for delivery. I got generic viagra and it was around ¥1000 per pill plus ¥1000 sending fee.

Overall it was easy enough but you need a Japanese credit card and it takes a while for delivery +a little expensive per pill.

The next time I needed pills I went to an in-person place in Ueno called Ueno United Clinic. It is next to Ueno station and easy access. There are 2 guys at the counter and you just have to say it’s your first visit and they show you a card with “ED medicine”and “premature nut” selections and you point to what you want. They’ll give you an easy form to fill in (you can used Google translate), same deal as before, quick consultation, choose your pill of choice and how say how many you want. This place seems much cheaper and they offer free extras depending on how many you buy and it’s around 6-700 yen per pill. Pay the guys at the front and they give you your boner pills and a member card. Very easy.

I will be going back to the Ueno place, no need for further consultation unless you want to change your order.

Just tried the Ueno clinic and they said since the provider doesn’t speak English they can’t help me. They are very particular about having your phone out and using google translate.

Sorry it didn’t work out for you.

I used Google translate when they gave me my document to fill in, but they weren’t looking at me.
The consultation was all in Japanese, but I’m surprised they wouldn’t help you.

There is a clinic I found that has a website and support in English, but it’s quite a bit more expensive. I’ll try to find it. I think it is in Ochanomizu.

Thank you for this. I l went to an Urologist's clinic nearby which I used to go for some other problems.

Filled out some forms and less than 20 minutes later I got 20mg 10 tadalafil.

Consulting cost 3,560 yen + 18,678 for 20 mg 10 tadalafil , which is about the same cost as other clinics

Recommend, will repeat!
 
Pro tip for you Ken. For that particular med, insurance will cover depending on the reason it is prescribed. But in the end you still get the boners.

Their prices seem cheap but postage seems steep, a lot more than the meds, the other downside is they charge in Bitcoin. Any ways around this?

If you take the same domain name but swap .com with .net , you get the same site but apparently allows you to use Mastercard. I don’t know whether the prices and terms are the same or not, so caveat emptor.
 
Shibuya 3-Chome Clinic. They moved a while back from their tiny office to a bigger and cleaner one around the corner. They will give you a patient number and card, and it makes things very easy for the second visit on. You do have to see the doctor face to face, for legal reasons, I believe. But he will just say "you want the same thing as last time?" And they you pay at the counter and get the meds. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes.

Both their toll free and direct numbers were not working this past weekend.

I went to this place a couple weeks ago. I had been to the 3rd clinic before, but was closed the few times I went after the 1st visit. They were actually cheaper than 3rd clinic, and much more professional. It’s about 5 minutes from the (old) 3rd clinic.

Thank you for this. That's a lot cheaper than what I paid to the clinic near my place. Will give it a try.

Tokyo 3rd block clinic moved round the corner (literally) from the old place. I went there today and paid 26k for 20 generic Cialis, and got 1 extra as a freebie. Expensive but very easy and smooth process.
 
Good to know it’s still open. For a time they were not picking up their phone anyway.

Thanks @TokyoExpat for the recommendation of Shibuya West. I have been a long time customer of 3rd Block but I think West is better. Closer to station, open on Sundays, cheaper, and better selection. Dissolvables and chewables etc. They got everything. Boner paradise it is indeed.

First you fill in some questionnaire form. Then wait for reservation. Used mobile phone for the meeting, you have to open mic and camera. First the pharmacist take your order for medication then the doctor confirms your order and asks some routine questions. Both female. They only had viagra available for 25ml and 50ml. Bought 25ml x10 for 4500.

It was very easy and fast. Afterwards you can order again from Line without needing any consultation.
